I was this close to getting a CTO over the line so that the holders could carry this project forward. Months of planning and burning my money scooping floor in preparation just for the Founder to ‘change his mind’ at the end. I feel so let down, but in the end it’s the 1700+ holders that suffer. This is not what crypto should be about, the incompetence and arrogance of 1 guy ruining something that’s much bigger than he is.

Learned something about stablecoins that I never really considered. Most stablecoins are backed by US treasury bills. Which means the more Americans use stablecoins, the more those stablecoins will be used to buy US Treasury bills. Which means less of deposits for local and regional banks (I don't care about bigger banks). Which means that after getting squeezed by regulations post the 2008 crash, these banks are in for another pounding. It seems like instead of creating a decentralized utopia, we allowed in the trojan horse of centralized control
