Good morning! Waking up to a damp start to Wednesday and it's also a lot warmer. Early day showers exit as clouds break for sun. Isolated showers and thunder pop up early this evening, especially western areas towards I-77.

Not as cold tonight with overnight low temperatures in the 50's. Rain showers are expected overnight with isolated thunder. Severe weather is not expected.

After a cold start to the week look for above average temperatures to return for the rest of the week. Below normal temperatures are expected to return to close out April and welcome in May.

Our cold and frosty morning transitions into a warmer afternoon. High temperatures this afternoon in the upper 60's are 20 degrees warmer than yesterday. Clouds increase in the evening sky with rain showers expected overnight tonight.

A more widespread freeze is expected tonight into Tuesday morning as high pressure builds in, leading to lighter winds and better conditions for temperatures to fall below freezing. Over the last 10 years our last 32 or lower of Spring occurred in April or early May.

Had a great visit Friday to St Mary’s Central School in St Clairsville. The Kindergarten and First graders are weather wise. I love how they colored the weather 😃
