You can have all the engineers you want, but if nobody builds the house, wires the power, or lays the pipes, those blueprints just sit in a drawer. We’ve made it sound like trades are what you do if you can’t go to college, instead of a path you choose because you like working with your hands, solving problems, and seeing your work stand solid for decades. Four years after high school, some kids walk away with diplomas. Others walk away with zero debt, a union card, and a skill they can take anywhere in the world. And guess what? When your furnace dies in January, it’s not the diploma that saves you. A few weeks ago, that same freckled kid’s mom stopped me at the grocery store. She said, “You probably don’t remember, but you told my son trades are important. He’s shadowing his uncle this summer. First time I’ve seen him excited about anything in years.” That’s the part we forget — for some kids, knowing their path is respected changes everything. It’s not about “just” fixing wires or pipes. It’s about pride. Purpose. The kind that sticks with you long after the job’s done. So next time you meet a teenager, don’t just ask, “Where are you going to college?” Ask, “What’s your plan?” And if they say, “I’m learning to weld,” or “I’m starting an apprenticeship,” smile big and say, “That’s fantastic. We’re going to need you.” Because we will. More than ever. And when the lights go out, you’ll be glad they showed up.”

Should there be a National Referendum on Digital ID? A simple binary yes / no choice like Brexit.

I will not comply with digital ID under any circumstances, no matter how difficult and inconvenient they make it to participate in society without one. Will you? Digital ID is THE hill to die on. It is the very foundation which enables all the other totalitarian digital technologies—including CBDCs, social credit systems, person carbon allowances and 15-minute districts—to be built. The open-air digital prison unelected globalist technocrats have planned for us is not possible without digital ID. That's why it's being pushed so aggressively—in lockstep, using various different pretexts—in so many different countries at exactly the same time. If we allow our traitorous governments to take us down the road of digital ID, the ultimate destination is absolute digital enslavement—from which it will be practically impossible to ever escape. And they can only do that if we comply. DO NOT COMPLY.

Labour has responded to the petition stating that a Digital ID will be introduced within this Parliament. A cross-party effort in Westminster to resist that is now an absolute necessity. I'm pleased to report even more signatures on our letter. We will fight it in Parliament.

@Jenny_1884 Tone deaf & drunk on power... anyone else need a reminder as to why they weren't in power last 14 years? Only there, because the Tories were THAT bad. Disgraceful. What's the answer? No confidence vote, disolve asap. Get in Reform, the party of normal people & common sense.

So just had a reply from the petition & this Government are still pushing ahead with Digital ID even though they know nobody wants it & they are not even going to debate it in parliament. Surely this can’t even be legal as this was never in their manifesto. Anyone else angry?

Keir Starmer says we are at a "fork in the road". We can choose "decency or division". We choose decency, Keir. This is why you and your divisive, nasty, Britain-hating, economically illiterate party need to be booted out of office as soon as possible.

Digital ID: This is the WEF's plan for you, straight from their website. The goal is to bring about a situation where every aspect of daily life—healthcare, banking, food, travel, internet, social media, communications, energy usage, etc—requires a valid digital ID, without which you are locked out. Once that situation is in place, the conditions of validity can be set to whatever they want. Didn't take the latest experimental mRNA vaccine? Digital ID invalid. Posted "misinformation" on social media? Digital ID invalid. Social credit score too low? Digital ID invalid. Exceeded your carbon allowance this month? Digital ID invalid. Voiced criticism of your new technocratic overlords? Digital ID invalid. If we ever allow our governments to succeed in rolling out digital ID, we will end up living in a giant open-air digital prison, from which it will be virtually impossible to ever escape.
