Why make the coffee hot when I already am?

I could take the shot if I felt like it. That part’s easy. That’s not the problem. The problem is I’m standing here realizing I don’t care enough to pull the trigger. Which is… funny, given that the whole setup screams the opposite. (Kinda embarrassing if you think about it.)

Didn’t even come here planning anything serious. Rifle’s there, yeah, and I’m dressed like I walked out of some low-budget action scene, all black. Looks intense though, I’ll admit that. Like if someone walked past me right now they’d probably assume I’ve got a whole agenda.

Tell me what you’re looking for. ’Cause if the idea is to pass through, no. That’s not happening. Not with me here watching you pretend you didn’t corner yourself. You don’t get to walk past me like I’m background noise. You don’t get to improvise an exit either.

Where are you going? Because from where I’m standing, you walked in like you had a plan, then slowed down the second you realized the road just… stops. And now you’re looking around like something might magically open up if you stare long enough. It won’t.
