@idowney Scheyer is not a bad coach but he had a bad moment there, in my opinion. That can happen. Really hard to be a good/great coach without good/great players.

Simply put a player made a bad decision & a player made a thirty five (35’) foot shot. THIRTY FIVE. Somehow that equates to Jon Scheyer being a bad coach and Hurley being a master. Just Stop. The truth is, the players determine the game, coaches reap the benefits/consequences

@JerStack @ClayTravis A million more dollars is another elite player, probably a starter or multiple bench guys, to truly have a dominant roster he needs more

Michigan is really good and destroyed Tennessee today. Three straight Elite 8’s is a great run for Vols. Big UT boosters & administration have a decision to make — how much money are they willing to give Rick Barnes to give him a truly elite roster?

As a superintendent, you want healthy spring turf that greens up quickly and sets the course up for success. The challenge is to achieve early green-up without causing excess growth and extra management. Here's how: bit.ly/41Bw96a.

A fungicide program is important, but cultural support matters, too. Patch Amino 5 complements early-season preventative applications by helping strengthen turfgrass against take-all patch with targeted nutrition and amino acid support. Learn more: bit.ly/4ru7s6e.

When cool temperatures and low light slow turf down, color is often the first to fade. Amperage helps bring turf back in the shoulder seasons by supplying minerals that support photosynthesis and jump-start chloroplast production, resulting in greener color without excess growth.

MIAA State Semi Final game. Local TV can’t do the game live due to contract obligations. No scoreboard on the NFHS live feed 🤦‍♂️

@idowney True. I coached boys back when you played, nothing but man to man, 2-3 zone, Maybe a 1-3-1,and a 1-2-1-1 press plus the occasional junk. Any team that plays all of the above are usually not good at any of them.

Coaching HS in 2026 is wild. When I played the other team either played man or a 2-3 zone. Today you need to make sure your team can attack… Man 2-3 zone 3-2 zone 1-2-2 trap 1-3-1 zone 1-1-3 zone And break… Man face guard Man run and jump 1-2-2 2-2-1 2-1-2 1-2-1-1 🤯

As fall brings shorter daylight hours, turf struggles to produce energy. Foliar-Pak Amperage provides the right blend of nutrients and amino acids to keep plants fueled. Watch the video below to learn how Amperage helps increase energy production when the plant does not want to.

From that laughably low $30M UMass should rip the turf up at McGuirk and put down natural grass, spend the money to maintain the field year round - you literally have one of the premier turf management schools in house you can make this happen

A lot of GC Supers have lost their jobs this year that didn’t deserve to. Brutal winter, weird spring and summer. You can be good at growing grass and have years you struggle due to weather. If you have a Super who has done well for 3 years, he doesn’t become bad overnight.

In harsh winters, every bit of carbohydrate energy helps turf survive. As daylight fades, photosynthesis, which builds carbohydrates, slows. Foliar-Pak Foundation Forty and Amperage support carbohydrate production to keep turf strong.
