Hes still under contract so agreeing to terms with another team would be easy breach

If this is true, does LSU have patience with NSD and portal coming? If he doesn’t sign anything, he isn’t obligated to go. LSU fans how would you view this?

Hello @bibbysci! I need a microvol conductivity probe with a 0-100 mS/cm range for undergrad research proj. We're a rural comm college w/ tiny budget. Questions: (1) Any other, cheaper options?; (2) Will probe work with any meter or do I need Bibby meter?

@NinaSalau @LatinXChem Follow-up: Interestingly, no one knows how this works. But, our findings explain why patients objectively recover faster (faster hospital discharge rates) with NaCl neb therapies.. ⬆️[NaCl] also appears to help ⬆️sputum clearance.

@fabiolachapav @LatinXChem Excellent question! Our work on the chemistry side will absolutely spawn interest with our engineering colleagues. Also, to our knowledge, these results are the first benchmarking dataset upon which new studies are currently being conducted 🙂

@AlbertoVelaCDMX @LatinXChem Good question! I currently disagree with using Grimme's or pursuing TS work. We wanted LECs with IR data for preliminary comparison; we don't know the "active" conformer yet. Additional future work: calc optimization and TS search.

@JeremyMCarr @LatinXChem The B3LYP XC functional that you used does not have dispersion. Is it fair to compare your data with this functional? Including dispersion "a la Grimme" or TS could be a better option. Don't you agree?

@AlbertoVelaCDMX @LatinXChem Another good question. In tests, we saw no significant difference b/w B3LYP or M06-2X. Preliminary Dunning basis screen gave similar results to B3LYP/6-311G(2d,p). Our decision gave us reasonable results--similar to XRD data--for comparison purposes.

@AlbertoVelaCDMX @LatinXChem Great question! There was a clear difference of 10-24 hours (DFT) and 60 seconds (semiempirical). We generally use SE prior to DFT confirmation, so we assume that readers know this. Truthfully, I went back-and-forth about including in prior drafts

@JeremyMCarr @LatinXChem Why don't you stress that PM6-ORG calculations are much faster than DFT? They are, correct? What is the timing difference?

@LopzNicandro @LatinXChem They’re very pretty structures. I see what you mean about the partial positive charge among all of the O-H functional groups. The anions appear to fit perfectly! Great work!
