Honest question: Why is onchain privacy important for individuals? I grew up in a place where ID number is public information. I am still surprised how Americans are afraid of sharing their SSN.

@CoinbaseDuck we've pioneered FPMMs @MentoLabs to solve this issue in #2 where you can swap up to the depth of the pool with no slippage! E.g. same 100k of liquidity on each side will reduce that 3% slippage to just the protocol fee. @jessepollak should we get live on @base? it would be a huge unlock and value driver for all the issuers in the ecosystem as well 🙌📷🙌

All this sounds like the future. lots work to do here. Step 1: find reliable issuing party for issuing foreign currency with safe custodian ship. This is hard enough already. So far we only have usdt usdc ausd Eurc JPYC and few other. Step 2: gather users, idle liquidity is dead money, no MM wants to do it. Step 3: with users, that adds liquidities so it offers low slipperage. Now FX on @base is like an island now, okay, I get it you can get 100k swapped with maybe -3% but this is worse or similar to banks. And 100k liquidity is really awful for serious capital. @jessepollak if you are serious about building an onchain economy, please build trust and liquidity. Otherwise it’s all child’s play.
