Let me reintroduce myself… Just Jes here 👋 I took a step back for the last five months from being active on here and growing my page. At one point, this app started to feel like it was taking over my life, and I knew I needed to pause and really reevaluate my priorities. Since November, here’s what I’ve been focusing on and accomplishing while offline: ▪︎ I started my own LLC and now work for myself from home ▪︎ I’m over 3 months nicotine-free (YAY, but it made me pack on 5 pounds 😂) ▪︎ I’ve been spending more intentional time with my boys and realizing just how fast this stage of life goes ▪︎ I feel less anxious, less overwhelmed, and more present in my everyday life There’s definitely more… but my brain said “that’s enough remembering for now” 😅 Stepping away reminded me how important it is to unplug sometimes. That said… I’ve genuinely missed this community. The connections I’ve made over the past couple of years mean so much to me, and I’m slowly finding my way back! Also… don’t worry, I’m still the same weirdo over here 😅 so be ready for whatever posts might come your way. I’m really glad to be here again ❤️

Before I took a break, negative comments and random insults were pretty rare for me. Since I’ve been back, I’ve gotten more in the past week than I did in the last couple of years combined. Today someone even threw an insult at me and blocked me right after... for no reason at all. I’m not bothered by it, but it does make you wonder… what’s going on with people lately? Is everyone OK out there? 😅

@SevierlyBlessed I completely agree. That is one of the things with old pictures that really bums me out!

@Jessica319C It’s a shame our cameras didn’t take better photos back then. We had some really great moments to capture.

Looking through old photos and found this one. McDonald’s birthday parties were the highlight back then. Simple times, but so much fun!

Day 329/365 of doing something new everyday: Write left-handedly I feel like it got worse as I went. The 1st was my right hand base level 😆

@littleshoes08 Yes, I loved meeting the characters!!!! Such great times! On the flip side, I remember when I was a kid going to Burger King to meet the Ninja Turtles and it was a big deal. The whole place was PACKED!

@Jessica319C Yes they were! My daughter's 1st birthday party was at McDonald's when they had all the characters out greeting people. This was 30 years ago. Fun memories 😊

@AmbyAndTheOcean We never had a Hardee's near us! Simple birthdays were the best though!
