#TopGunMaverick was a phenomenal follow-up to the original classic. It carries on Maverick's story in a believable way, shows the benefits of having practical effects, and gives us and absolutely gorgeous product. The side characters could've been better though.

We live in an era with more Hollywood martial arts movie made than ever but with fewer stars who actually knows martial arts. Like JCVD was probably one of the least skilled martial arts stars of his era but we have no one right now who’s even remotely close to him.
