I do think it's funny that there's a reality where S41 has been caught and celebrated and put on display, then a few months later S40's rusted carcass washes up to Starbase to little fanfare.

@MintySnep what diag system are you using for lambo's and Ferrari's? the Snap-on thing i have wont communicate with them. something about the OBD2 port having 3 wires wired differently that the unit doesnt understand.

Pleeeeease program up correctly and stop being dumb 😭. Modern cars and modern CANBUS systems are making repairing and even just maintaining these cars nearly impossible for independent shops.

@MintySnep engine forward of the gearbox. MR2's have a boot space behind the engine bay that should give enough space. one of my friends has stuck a 2JZGTE on a VW gearbox in a MR2 recently. just didnt want the complexity of the gears he has with his.

@JesterTiger I’ve never actually heard of anyone besides Rob Dahm doing a mid engine rotary with a modern 6sp. Depending on if you want the trans to be in front of or behind the engine, depends on if a Boxster/Cayman trans versus a 911 trans would work.

@MintySnep Your good with Porsches. (i think)... What 6 speed manual gearbox would be a good option for use with a Mazda 13B turbo engine? I know i need an adaptor. but trying to work out my next stage of crazyness with the MR2. and its time it had Boosted Doritos.
