ICE has violated almost 100 court orders. Let me say that another way. 100 times ICE was caught brazenly ignoring the law. 100 times a court told them to immediately stop. And 100 times they ignored the order. That's an out of control agency that shouldn't get another dime.

"That is how they punish me for having cried after telling me my son had died." Her 1-year-old baby was still breastfeeding—when ICE separated him from mother along with her other 3 children. She had already lost a son to cancer in 2020—and says the only immigration check-in she ever missed was to take care of him on his deathbed. María de la Luz Loredo is afraid to cry or show any emotion now that she is back in her regular cell—for fear of being punished again. She is locked up at the El Valle ICE Processing Center in Raymondville, Texas.

This is heartbreaking and unconscionable. After weeks in family detention, toddler Amalia was rushed to a hospital with critically low oxygen levels. She fought for her life in intensive care—under ICE watch—only to be sent back to the very Dilley center where she nearly died, amid widespread respiratory illnesses among children. This cruelty has no place in America.
