Everyone is focused on Kharg Island. The one that very much matters right now is Larak Island. IRGC naval bases, port infrastructure, and control over ship screening. It functions as a choke point, effectively a toll booth and targeting hub inside the Strait.

Zaporizhia will never be under Russian control. Kharkiv will never be under Russian control. Kherson will never be under Russian control. It doesn’t matter how many men Putin is willing to waste, nor how many armored vehicles, nor tanks, this war is over for Russia.

NEW: The United States has reportedly sent Iran a 15-point plan to conclude the war, according to unspecified officials speaking to the New York Times. The officials said that the plan addresses shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s ballistic missile and nuclear programs. (1/2) Pakistan reportedly delivered the US proposal to Iran. Israeli officials continue to express that they expect the war with Iran to continue for “weeks.” Iran sent a letter to International Maritime Organization member states on March 22 stating that “non-hostile” ships can pass through the Strait of Hormuz if they coordinate with Iran, according to the Financial Times. Ships associated with the United States, Israel, or other “participants in the aggression” are not eligible for safe passage. This report is consistent with reports that over 20 vessels have taken an Iranian-approved route through the Strait of Hormuz as of March 23. Iran has reportedly required some of these vessels to pay a fee to transit the strait. The combined force continues to conduct airstrikes against Iranian naval capabilities to degrade Iran’s ability to threaten shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The IDF said that it recently struck two long-range anti-ship cruise missile manufacturing facilities in Tehran. The IDF also struck a facility responsible for designing and developing submarines and support systems in Esfahan Province. Iran has launched six barrages of missiles targeting Israel since ISW-CTP’s last data cutoff. One missile impacted near a power station in Hadera, northern Israel. Israeli media also reported an impact in an industrial zone in the Negev Desert.

Ukraine has literally created its own program of missiles, short, medium and long-range drones, drone-based air defense, ground drones to replace its infantry, naval and underwater drones... from scratch over the last 4 years under the bombs That's crazy ! Thanks for following !

Biden was no saint. $95 Billion dollars are enough to literally purchase TWO THIRDS of all the F16s AND Abrams EVER built, and also 1000+ Tomahawk missiles with a range of over 2000km. What did Ukraine receive for that same amount? An artillery shell shortage. That's what.

Ukrainian forces recently advanced in the Slovyansk direction, in the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkivka tactical area, and in western Zaporizhia Oblast. ⬇️ 1) Geolocated footage published on March 24 shows Ukrainian forces clearing a Russian-occupied building and detaining Russian prisoners of war (POWs) in eastern Prymorske (northwest of Orikhiv), indicating that Ukrainian forces recently advanced in the area. 2) Geolocated footage published on March 23 indicates that Ukrainian forces recently advanced within and north of Zakitne (east of Slovyansk). 3) Geolocated footage and a report from a Ukrainian military source published on March 23 and 24 indicate that Ukrainian forces likely liberated Minkivka (northeast of Kostyantynivka). 4) Geolocated footage published on March 20 and 23 indicates that Ukrainian forces recently advanced in eastern and southeastern Kostyantynivka and south of the settlement. Geolocated footage published on March 23 indicates that Ukrainian forces advanced south of Illinivka (south of Kostyantynivka). Likely archival geolocated footage published on March 24 shows Ukrainian forces clearing a Russian position and capturing two Russian servicemembers southeast of Novopavlivka (southwest of Druzhkivka), indicating that Russian forces no longer maintain this position.

NEW: Russian forces launched nearly 1,000 drones and missiles against Ukraine in a prolonged strike series from the evening of March 23 to the evening of March 24 – the largest Russian strike series against Ukraine of the war thus far. More Key Takeaways: Russian forces struck a UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage site in Lviv City during the day on March 24. The Russian strikes on March 23 to 24 represent a significant inflection in Russian strike tactics that allow Russia to threaten more areas of Ukraine for longer periods of time and disproportionately affect civilian areas. Ukraine notably disrupted elements of the strike package by destroying ground-based Zirkon hypersonic missile launcher while it was moving into a firing position in Crimea on the night of March 23 to 24 – a difficult task that is a testament to Ukraine’s maturing operational planning and extended-range strike capabilities. Russia recently launched satellites as part of its efforts to develop a Russian analogue to Starlink. Ukrainian forces recently advanced in the Slovyansk direction, in the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkivka tactical area, and in western Zaporizhia Oblast. Ukrainian overnight March 22 to 23 strikes halted operations at a Russian oil port for exports. (1/2)
