Jesus knew all things that would come upon Him. Jesus went forward…I Am He… Words fail, my response feels so inadequate…but Thank You Jesus for Your willing, wholehearted sacrifice. Thank You Jesus for the Cross…for Your blood…for Your rescue of a sinner like me.

The hour has come…the most important and powerful week in the history of the world. Jesus is about to lay His life down and die for our sins. I stand in wonder and worship as He steps into this. Thank You Jesus… John 17:1-3

I want to be a faithful and wise servant of Jesus! I am Jesus’ servant I want to be a faithful servant…doing what He has called me to do. I want to be a wise servant…understanding He will return unexpectedly I want to be found doing this when Jesus returns! Help Lord!

I want to please God no matter what it costs me Jesus tells us if we love our life in this world, it can rob us, cause us to lose eternal life John 12:25,42-43 …many believed in Him, but …did not confess Him…for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

I want to walk in the good works God has prepared for me Today, 1994 years ago, the disciples did. They participated in “Palm Sunday” They did God’s works because they did what Jesus told them They did God’s work even though they didn’t fully get it Help me Lord to do this

I want to be like Lazarus, Martha and Mary…Jesus’ friends Lazarus was dead, now alive, sitting at the table with Jesus. On account of Lazarus, many believed in Jesus! Martha served Jesus and that is good. Mary loved, gave and worshipped. Jesus, I want to be Your friend

I pray that my preaching will be a demonstration of the Spirit and power of God! I pray that the impact of my preaching would be faith, not in men’s wisdom, not my words or thoughts…but the power of God! Lord, help this to be so…more and more so! 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

O LORD, show me Your Glory! I want to know You, I want to know Your Name! I marvel and the wonder of who God is…each part of His name declared drips with wonder and power. Merciful, gracious, long suffering…forgiving… Yet, I also see the tragedy of those who refuse Him

O LORD, I want to know You and then know You more! O LORD, I base my request on Your Grace LORD and You saying You know me O LORD, show me Your ways, how to be close, follow You and know You more…how to live in Your presence. O LORD, show me now Your way, that I may know You

I want to remember, hold fast to and trust in the LORD! I am aware of the fickleness of our hearts…how little it takes to distract us and move us from trusting God. LORD, for Your Name’s sake, help us! May it be that we remember and Trust the Name of the LORD our God!

Jesus is coming! He is coming back! Today, the solid reality and promise of Jesus’ return grips me and gives me hope… He is coming with POWER He is coming with GLORY He is coming to GATHER us home! Come Lord Jesus! Mark 13:26-27
