First election cycle that I’m not on the ballot in several years, but Dean and I headed down to Georgia to help support the Republican Senate candidates in the runoff election. The future of our country is at stake there on January 5th.

Even in what can seem like tumultuous times, our family is proud to live in America and proud to stand for the flag. 🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day everyone!

I would consider myself one of many on this state who were inspired into public service at least partly by him over the course of his landmark career. Thank you, Senator Alexander for your service to Tennessee and I wish you and your family all the best in your retirement.

One of my first political memories was in 1978 when @LamarAlexander walked across the state in his bid for Governor and stayed with the Matlocks in Loudon County. In that campaign, I put bumper stickers on cars and stapled signs to telephone polls.
