Exactly! It's a much bigger issue here that needs to be addressed. Folks want to immediately jump on the downtown Cincinnati is dangerous & other racist talking points while not acknowledging the severe lack of programming & community engagement opportunities for these youths!

I don’t condone what the kids be doing on the Banks during Opening Day. I actually feel sorry for them. They have NOTHING to do anymore. No malls, no pools, no parks for real with like BBall courts. No teen clubs. No rec centers no nothing. All this pent up energy and aggression

Free metro buses had nothing to do with this. The kids had their own transportation. Adding bus riders to the mix plays to your base. Most bus riders look like me and you and are simply trying to go to work. Instead of feeding into racist tropes about us to serve your base go look at the facts. Metro been doing free opening day fares for at least a decade.

Free metro bus rides. No curfew. They advertise no curfew for a week. 80 degree weather. This wk teen takeover in Price Hill. CPS on spring break. City Hall had ALL this info prior to Opening Day. No support for police. @CinFop The Mayor & Council still missing in action.
