We’ve come so far in the last 54 years, but one thing hasn’t changed: Our home looks gorgeous from space! The left view is from the Apollo 17 crew in 1972 and the right was captured yesterday by the Artemis II crew.
@NUFC Give him a run of games, he might actually do something if he plays the full 90 not just 10 minute cameos when his teammates are all knackered and have given up!
@CallumInLothian@QprChan@The_Forty_Four I don't see what the issue is. Doesn't seem that unreasonable to sell a second home so you have cash to spend actually living your life. He can always buy another house but can't go back in time to go to the world cup!
@The_Forty_Four I don't see an issue with this, he's selling a second home so he has the cash to do something he enjoys. He's not going to be homeless, some people really are thick as fuck on here.
@25YearsAgoLive Is this actually true? I'm from Peterborough and do not recall this ever existing! A quick Google and Wikipedia is citing an article from a marketing journal in 2001 that claimed one opened up, but did it? Is this a myth? Can't have lasted more than 5 minutes if true! 😂
Quiznos Subs opens its first location in Europe as a Quiznos restaurant opens in Peterborough, England.
(I couldn’t find a photo of the precise location, so please enjoy this actual Quiznos commercial).
@NUFC No clue why Anthony Gordon decided to play a silly pass and give the ball away at the end.. should have held onto it or ran into the corner. Didn’t need to play that audacious pass
After making an appointment on the Internet, 43-year-old German engineer Bernd Brandes meets with 39-year-old computer repairman Armin Meiwes to be voluntarily cannabilized.
Calmly and consensually, Meiwes turns on a video camera, amputates Brandes’s penis, eats it with salt, pepper, wine, and garlic with his partner, and then takes a bath with Brandes, who jokes that they will “eat his balls for breakfast” together.
Then Brandes dies from blood loss and Meiwes butchers his meat.
I wanna buy churches like this that are shutting down across England.
So if you know a church that's for sale and potentially closing down, let me know. I wanna buy a church.
I don't care if it's got planning permission to return to flats redeveloped. I don't care.
I wanna buy it. I don't care how profitable the conversion will be.
If it was built as a church, I believe it needs to stay as a church.
I want to save churches like this one from being shut down and sold off to developers all across the UK.
I love making profit in property, but when someone's being built as a church to honour Jesus Christ, that's a no no.
There's revival coming in England and we need to keep our churches open. Ready for what’s to come.
Is this a good idea you would support?
UAE’s air defence is so advanced, robust and impressive. It has kept my wife and children safe and secure in Dubai and I’m truly grateful for that.
In my eyes it’s still the safest country on earth!
Thank you UAE! 🫡🏴🇦🇪
