@YaadMekI America needs a wellness check rite now..gonna have to go down there & do my neighbourly duty 🤣🤣. What they are allowing to happen is mind-boggling..this war is a test of power which DJT thought he had in absolute terms but he is sorely surprise. God help the rest of the world.
English

@JohnsonRenece He does, and so does the leaders of that country that is why you never see them getting brought up to the Int’l Courts. But, if that country is to redeem themselves in the eyes of the world, then at a minimum they need to have him arrested and tried after this debacle!
English

@ghettoyutes Same as I am now...an accountant. Started out in banking though
English

@Sparkiebaby Why wasn't the transfer confirmed in her acct prior to them coming?

@audsjop The fake spring hit hard like it came to stay 🤣🤣
It was so cold today coming off the very warm weekend and Monday...but as u said... its Canada 🇨🇦 😂
English

@trevorforrest @ScotiabankJM From my understanding those positions have been eliminated, and the space is not repurposed. Telling does all the transactions...cash and non-cash.
English

So check this out!! @ScotiabankJM Financial Ctr on Constant Spg Rd customer service section not staffed. Why????...All CSRs are on maternity leave OR on vacation AT THE SAME TIME!!!. So all customer service queries are handled by tellers. Make it make sense!!!

@thekenndubisi Not only Nigeria. Im Jamaican and its the same....you suppose to wear ur wealth and make it visible or u dont have it.
I think this is the mindset of Black ppl on a whole.
English

Moving from Nigeria to a place like Canada gives you a mind unlock that most people miss. If you’re a sensible person, you will clock it quickly.
You realize there’s ABSOLUTELY no need to be materialistic.
Because here, nobody cares about your flashy car. Nobody cares where you shop.
You can have $1,000,000 in the bank and be driving a well-maintained Honda Civic with 80,000 miles on it and nobody cares.
The problem is that materialism has completely fried a lot of people’s brains back home.
It’s trained them to believe that success must be visible. That if people can’t see it, it doesn’t count.
English

@edgaralandough It was a revelation for me too how God answered Moses when he was to lead the ppl out of Egypt. "I am that I am", God cannot be boxed in...that day He was the deliverer, another day, He is the comforter, He is the provider, Savior, Father, counselor etc. He alone is everything!
English

I recently learned something that shifted how I understand prayer. When the Bible says “the God of Abraham/David/Jacob,” it’s not repetition,it’s revelation. God’s name is attached to people’s stories so we understand how He shows up. The God of Jacob is the God who stays with the struggler. The God of David is the God who restores after failure. The God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is the God who delivers in the fire. Growing up, I heard my mom pray like this all the time.
I didn’t realize she was calling on specific dimensions of God’s faithfulness. Now I understand, when we say “the God of…” we’re saying, “Do here what You did there.”

@sirwilc30 Oh ok....a very reflective question...just seeing it reminded me that the time is drawing near and my spiritual eyes need to be laser focused even now more than ever. God bless
English

@JohnsonRenece Wasn't asking for me dear, was a question to inspire, provoke thought and hopefully action in the reader, I've read to show myself approved. Peace and love
English

@XiMeNaKa Temporary workers also pay into EI and CPP and will never benefit especially from CPP.
Show gratitude not disdain!
English

@mobinfiltrator @persistent_pbw @cra Not anymore. The process is simplified if you are tech savvy. Real time verification is available through a 3rd party provider. Try it...u maybe surprised.
English

@JohnsonRenece @persistent_pbw @cra You have to get a PIN sent out. After waiting hours on hold. There’s only 50,000 employees you know.
English

I paid $60,000 CAN in taxes last year.
The @CRA stopped my Child Tax Benefits (CCB)
They’d been advised I haven’t lived in Canada since 2020. The also audited my personal taxes and a business we sold in 2019 (more than 5 years after the audit) based on this anonymous tip.
It took 14 months for me to prove we did live in Canada and was only out of the country for 2024, of which my accountant advised them in my 2024 tax returns.
They owe me over $20,000 in CCB and it looks like I’m not going to get it now.
I promise you now I will never pay another penny in taxes to Canada.
I haven’t filled 2025 yet, but if it comes back saying I owe one cent I sell up and move somewhere I see my tax dollars being used sensibly.
English

@TradingThomas3 When is almost immediately? Today, tomorrow, 2 hours from his tweet, 100 hours.....what!
This goon power is slipping by the minute and he knows it.
English

@mobinfiltrator @persistent_pbw @cra Create a new one then. I find that strange though bcz I rarely use mine. I work in accounting and has a rep. ID so I log in most times through "represent a client" and not "my account".
English

@JohnsonRenece @persistent_pbw @cra Yeah. I don’t. They cancelled it back in 2023. If you don’t log in for two years they automatically cancel it. 🤷♂️
English

@mobinfiltrator @persistent_pbw @cra CRA has automated everything. They discontinued sending paper mail. If you have a CRA my account, the letter should be there.
I stopped getting CCB 2 yrs ago and that is how I was notified.
PS. Once ur income drop below threshold when you file, you will start getting CCB again.
English

@JohnsonRenece @persistent_pbw @cra I remember that. However, we received no documentation stating what. And I remember we used to get a letter every year.
English

@mobinfiltrator @persistent_pbw @cra CCB is income tested every year. If a particular year u r over the income threshold, u are not entitled to received benefit starting July 1 of the year u filed. CRA uses the net income of the previous tax year & income from pension/RRSP forms part of net income, line 23600.
English

@persistent_pbw @cra Nope. I withdrew a big chunk from my pension. That’s what I took a huge hit.
