why are there no design hackathons in crypto?? seems like a huge gap the way i see it, marketing visuals are super jaded across the space rn a hackathon will allow for creativity and new talent to shine (much much needed) who’s building this??

I might be hated for saying this, and it comes from some privilege, but the conversations that can actually help you in any way, happen behind closed doors - mostly in rooms most people don't even know exist In India especially, where millions are chasing a handful of real opportunities, the false promise of access is particularly cruel No hate to YC here, but be it events like YC Startup School or India AI Summit or any 1000 invitee event, it isn't about learning - it's unintentionally just marketing with a schedule. What looks like opportunity is mostly performance - much similar to a fan event or a political rally (ouch!) If you're really someone who's wanting to build something, focus on unlocking network. I won't give you a recipe to do that as there's never a recipe that works for all and if it works for all it's crowded already. You'll have to figure it out - how to mark yourself different from the crowd, how to get noticed. IIT did half of that for me (privilege ofc). But even then it takes me immense efforts to get noticed - making strategies to capture attention, get noticed, be seen as someone worth talking, adding value to them and then maybe I get 15 minutes of someone's time to talk truth - it's that tough. You'll have to figure your's out. But trust me, when you finally sit in one of those closed-door conversations and the person you once looked up to is just... a person - uncertain, curious, figuring it out - that's the real unlock no event can bring

I think one of the biggest challenges when it comes to going hard into using AI is loneliness I am learning all these awesome things and becoming super capable But the set of people that I can really talk to about it is very small Is anyone else having this experience?
