Just here to watch the vacuous cluster fuck of today's pop culture and lying politicians, lying media and all their sycophants.

@earthcurated @NASA It can also make you realize how insane it is that we sometimes think we know what's going on. Just the tiniest glimpse of the miracle of our existence is beautiful and terrifying, even hilarious. So hyperventilating is understandable.

@VickieforNYC Democrats have a well oiled swamp compared to republicans but both sides are like that. Politicians are the biggest and most dangerous parasites on the planet with media riding on their backs howling with laughter.

The thing about all these Eric Swalwell revelations is that ALL of them were known for years. But the media worked with the Democrat establishment to keep them quiet as long as Swalwell was useful. Now, because the California governor race has become a fiasco that might actually lead to a Republican winning unless a couple of Dems drop out to consolidate the vote, he needs to go. And like clockwork, here comes the orchestrated campaign of sexual harassment claims to end his career. To be sure, Swalwell is garbage and deserves everything bad that's coming to him. But it's just amazing how the Democrats can just push a button and the machinery of the media and legal system just springs into action to eject someone from the party. This is a guy who was caught sleeping with a Chinese spy for years, with actual evidence that he compromised national security in the process, and he remained completely protected and elevated as a major national figure. But as soon as the math stops working on the CA governor race, it all collapses underneath him. Wild stuff.
Cheyenne Hunt@CheyenneHuntCA

I have been working with a number of women who are in the process of coming forward and sharing their stories of sexual harassment and even alleged abuse at the hands of Eric Swalwell. Here’s why we’re talking about it before mainstream media: 🧵

@ggreenwald Don't know if this is real or not but you're always the first to point out, rightly so, how the U.S. and Israel etc use fake photos/videos & announcements for propaganda. Ya don't think Iran does the same thing?

What percentage of American war supporters even know Iran has synagogues, or the largest Jewish population in the Middle East outside Israel, or a Jewish member of Parliament? Iranian Jews face restrictions, but one reason it's so easy to demonize a country and start wars is ignorance about that country.
Drop Site@DropSiteNews

💢 Iran’s Mehr News Agency published images showing extensive damage to a Jewish synagogue in central Tehran following a strike by U.S. or Israeli forces.

The existence of outer space is not something we “hear from the government.” It’s something we hear from every civilization, every scientist in this history of western civilization and before, every human being on the planet with the vaguest understanding of the universe, every one who’s ever been to space or looked at it through a telescope or who understands basic physics, not to mention our own common sense and observations. You are rejecting the sum total of human knowledge across time and across the world going back to the dawn of civilization itself, declaring the greatest geniuses in human history like Isaac Newton to be “retarded,” and you’re doing it based on no evidence, no discernible reason, no coherent thought process at all except just your own weird feeling that something is “off” coupled with whatever bullshit you saw on YouTube. You’re right that I shouldn’t call that retarded. It’s something even more deranged than that. I’m not sure there’s a word in the English language to capture it. So congratulations, you have stumbled on a form of stupidity so mind numbingly preposterous than it defies description.
Howard Betta@Gaige_returns

@MattWalshBlog So you're retarded? You don't understand why people don't believe what they hear from the government that does nothing but lie and deceive them their ENTIRE lives? My 6 year old daughter understands psychology more than you then.

@ClayTravis Yes, the US fights wars to free the oppressed peoples of the world and to bring them freedom and democracy. How do you decide when to claim that Iran killed 30,000 protesters, or 45,000, or 70,000? Does it depend on the day of the week or lyrical flow or something else?

Trump’s “victory timeline” claims. Mar 3: "We won the war." Mar 7: "We defeated Iran." Mar 9: "We must attack Iran." Mar 9: "The war is ending almost completely, and very beautifully." Mar 11: “You never like to say too early you won. We won. In the first hour it was over.” Mar 12: "We did win, but we haven't won completely yet." Mar 13: "We won the war." Mar 14: "Please help us." Mar 15: "If you don't help us, I will certainly remember it." Mar 16: "Actually, we don't need any help at all." Mar 16: "I was just testing to see who's listening to me." Mar 16: "If NATO doesn't help, they will suffer something very bad." Mar 17: "We neither need nor want NATO's help." Mar 17: "I don't need Congressional approval to withdraw from NATO." Mar 18: "Our allies must cooperate in reopening the Strait of Hormuz." Mar 19: "US allies need to get a grip - step up and help open the Strait of Hormuz." Mar 20: "NATO are cowards." Mar 21: "The Strait of Hormuz must be protected by the countries that use it. We don't use it, we don't need to open it." Mar 22: "This is the last time. I will give Iran 48 hours. Open the strait" Mar 22: "Iran is Dead" Mar 23: "We had very good and productive talks with Iran." Mar 24: "We’re making progress." Mar 25: “They gave us a present and the present arrived today. And it was a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money. I’m not going to tell you what that present is, but it was a very significant prize.” Mar 26: "Make a deal, or we’ll just keep blowing them away." Mar 27: "We don’t have to be there for NATO." Mar 28: No major quote Mar 29: Claimed talks were progressing Mar 30: "Open the Strait of Hormuz immediately, or face devastating consequences." Mar 31: Claimed a deal was "very close" and that Iran would "do the right thing" Apr 1: "We’ll see what happens very soon." Apr 2: Repeated that a deal was likely, while warning of continued strikes if not Apr 3: "Something big is going to happen." Apr 4: Said Iran must comply "immediately" or face further consequences. Friends, I really need you to see this. For the past three years, I have been subjected to ongoing targeted harassment, bullying, and stalking by an account called @Rainmaker1973 Despite blocking him, despite repeatedly asking him to stop, which many of you have seen and despite legal advice confirming this may constitute civil harassment, and telling him this, it is still happening. THIS LEVEL OF OBSESSION AND PERSISTENCE IS LITERALLY THE DEFINITION OF STALKING. There are hundreds of instances where, from the moment he wakes up to the moment he sleeps, he posts about me directly and indirectly, making false accusations and ruminating about me This is not occasional — it is daily, obsessive, and deeply distressing. He repeatedly blames me for his own failures, account performance and visibility, even claiming the platform is being manipulated against him by me-absurd allegations He has also sent direct messages about me to people at X and to well-known individuals, making false claims. Some of these messages have been shared with me directly. the level of monitoring of me is so massive he has even said he asks AI to do analysis of me routinely This is clearly a sustained campaign. and he has shown no ability or willingness to stop. His language has escalated, framing this as a personal mission. The tone is increasingly intense and hostile, showing a heightened fixation that goes beyond normal online behaviour and at times becomes concerning. When you look at everything together the duration, the daily frequency, the focus on ME alone, and the escalation in tone — it raises serious concern about where this could lead if left unchecked. I do not know this individual, and none of us truly do. There are many real-world cases where prolonged online stalking escalates into real-life harm. I now have to take this seriously as a potential risk to my safety and consider a police report too I do not want this individual attached to me forever I have raised this with X as I am deeply unsettled and hope there is a remedy within the platform for this kind of repeated, targeted fixation. This man can’t stop on his own or he would have done so, he needs to feel a consequence of his behaviour I have extensive evidence documenting this behaviour over several years, and I will be sharing some examples below. I am not responsible for his content, his engagement, or his behaviour. Three years is far too long to endure this 1/🧵

@FischerKing64 @romanhelmetguy I've been overly concerned about how much Harvard students are learning. According to my mother, I first raised the issue when I was 3. I'm now in my 50s & my days are spent agonizing about the recent data. Every morning I wake up screaming, drenched in sweat. My life is hell.

Not long ago @romanhelmetguy posted course offerings from Harvard today and 100 years ago, and what struck me was the near total elimination of introductory survey courses (eg "Modern Europe from 1500-1789" or "English literature from Chaucer to Shakespeare"). Instead they get highly politicized courses on very narrow subjects. So eburke here is right, but I would just add that Harvard makes little effort to provide a "common frame of reference." If the humanities courses must all be for beginners it's also because Harvard doesn't lay the groundwork for going deeper.
eburke@JamesWHankins1

Harvard students are highly intelligent and often brilliant but they have no common frame of reference, so that every class in humanities has to be for beginners. File under: Why humanities are increasingly held in contempt.

Boys and young men, especially in places like CA, spend most their time in overtly leftwing institutions (like public schools) and know on a gut level something is off, that the system is working against them. They go online and find out they're not alone, and "move right."
MAZE@mazemoore

While discussing efforts to regulate big tech and social media companies, Newsom's wife says that boys who spend time online end up moving to the right. She calls that dangerous. This time she uses Andrew Tate as the bad guy instead of Jordan Peterson. "The Gov and I, we have three more years. We're trying to institutionalize our values."
