So sorry to hear the news about Malcolm Donaldson. He was an utterly delightful man. And enormously talented. I will forever cherish the memories of sitting round a roaring fire in a Highland pub, belting out Beatles songs with him and Julia.

Picture book authors. I was asked can you write a picture book even if you cannot draw? Do you send the words to the publisher without the pictures, or do you have to find an illustrator before you send it? Help me answer please!
