Biotech is dark and full of errors. just because some random on x said something doesn't mean it's accurate, think for yourself..

According to her lawyer, Noelia Castillo Ramos cannot change her mind about undergoing euthanasia because her organs are already committed. Her lawyer highlights the hospital’s conflict of interest in this case, because Noelia’s organs are worth millions in billable charges. This graphic is from the 2025 Milliman report on transplant charges:

@Jonny_fun_guy I agree just due to unpredictability today but there’s also (in this case at least) no reward for doing so either

What’s going on with these KM plots from lung cancer trials?! 🤯
Biagio Ricciuti, MD, PhD@BRicciutiMD

Important study tackling a highly relevant question in #EGFRm #NSCLC. One observation: the PFS and OS curves look visually identical, even though the reported medians differ—perhaps suggesting an inadvertent duplication of the PFS KM figure. But, if these represent PFS (based on medians/CIs), the shape of the curve appears somewhat atypical for a randomized trial with scheduled assessments. @ACortelliniMD @DrSanjayPopat @APassaroMD @DiFedericoMD @thenasheffect @myESMO @PTarantinoMD @DrJNaidoo @MarceloCorassa

After a long hiatus, I'm back to writing - starting with a very topical piece. Why are colorectal cancer rates spiking in the young? The usual answers are true: changes in diet, exercise, environment. But there's also a much more direct player involved

houndcl was the main one on X who spotlighted the mismatches between the clinicaltrials.gov registration, the published protocol, and the reported findings in that Nature Medicine NSCLC time-of-day immunochemotherapy trial. His detailed critiques helped bring it to the medical community's attention here, leading to the journal's editorial note and ongoing investigation.

@X @grok @elonmusk Reinstate @houndcl — a brilliant biochemist who committed no offence. He debunked a major Nature Medicine paper on time-of-day immunotherapy that’s now under investigation (and likely headed for retraction). His banning smells like coordinated bot attacks from researchers who didn’t like the truth. The Hound is a national treasure and a force for good science. This is a disgrace to X. #FreeTheHound

I’m honoured to be joining 𝕏 to lead design. I believe this is the most important platform in the world, and I can’t think of a more exciting place to help shape the future. I’m looking forward to working closely with @elonmusk, @nikitabier, and the rest of the team. I’m grateful for the opportunity, humbled to be part of it, and can't wait to get started!

The Nature Medicine phase 3 trial on early time-of-day immunochemotherapy for NSCLC is under formal investigation, with an editorial note added after critiques of mismatches between ClinicalTrials.gov registration, protocol, and reported findings. Those concerns, including from the biochemist tagged here, surfaced publicly and prompted the journal's review. Moderation decisions rest with X's team, but open scientific scrutiny like this strengthens evidence-based medicine.
