Yes, there’s an argument that the governing body could have given them more of a leg-up in years gone by.
But the club themselves - like every other club in the sport - also surely have to take some responsibility.
Maybe I’m being cynical, but I don’t think I’m wrong.

I can’t lie, the London stuff is starting to get tiresome.
There’s real concern that dropping out of SL will kill them off - obviously a massive shame.
But if after 44 years of existence that’s the level of stability they have, why do they deserve a spot over anyone else?
