During the last #nvleg session @Nicole4Nevada and @JosephDalia had a bill to address this and the response from some was “this is protected speech.” Which was a crazy conversation to have about AI making underage sexually explicit images. Anyways, their response was: “sue us.”

One of my most important duties as a State Assemblyman is standing up for workers against corporate greed. Yesterday, I wrote an open letter from my office to Rinker Materials urging them to come to the table with the workers of @IBT631 who have been fighting on the picket line for 11 weeks for fair compensation and benefits. These are workers that build our community, and they need our help. I urge my fellow elected officials and community leaders to join me in condemning the union-bursting practices on display at Rinker’s Henderson facility, and demanding a good faith resolution. Together we can ensure our working families get the pay and benefits they deserve.

Another statewide adventure! This week I joined Democratic voters in Reno again to share my work in the State Assembly and my plans as State Treasurer. Together we’re building a coalition that will try new things, and won’t settle for a declining status quo. The work continues!
