To clarify after yesterday’s HCC meeting: Minn. Stat. 387.03 requires the sheriff to ‘keep and preserve the peace’ across the entire county. Public safety isn’t optional or confined to cities. I’m committed to supporting the safety our communities expect.

The Southwest LRT Green Line Extension was supposed to open in 2018. Now it’s delayed to 2027, nine years late, and more than $1.5 billion over budget. Constituents deserve transparency and accountability for a project this far off track.
