HAPPY MONDAY! 🌼☕️ Following up on yesterday’s post about DM features, here’s a quick FAQ to help creators stay safe and informed: Q: Can a DELEGATED ADMIN SEE MY DMs? A: As of November 12, 2025, the answer is NO. X has disabled DM access for delegated accounts. Previously, DELEGATES COULD SEE YOUR FULL DM HISTORY, so if you delegated before this update, make sure to review any sensitive info. Q: Do I need to delegate my account to get monetized? A: NOT AT ALL. Delegation is OPTIONAL and mainly for team collaboration. IT IS ALWAYS FULFILLING TO GET MONETIZED ON X ON YOUR OWN. 🔥 Monetization eligibility depends on meeting X’s requirements like subscription status, follower count, and satisfying the 5M Impressions requirement. What I Learned About the 5M Impressions Rule on X: I used to believe that the 5 million organic impressions over the last 3 months was a one-time requirement to get monetized. But after watching my analytics and following updates, I realized it’s actually a continuing requirement. Even after qualifying, X monitors your impressions continuously. If your rolling 3-month total drops below 5M, payouts can be temporarily paused until it rebounds. Why I still got paid previously: • Before 2025, the rule was lightly enforced. Brief dips didn’t always stop payouts. • The rolling 3-month window could mask short-term drops. • Payouts often continued if the account was clean and Premium-subscribed. Now, X automatically scans impressions during payout cycles (bi-weekly). If below 5M at scan time, the next payout is paused, with no official grace period. How long a pause lasts depends on recovery: • Short dip (1–4 weeks): payouts resume next cycle. • Medium dip (1–2 months): miss 2–4 cycles, then resume. • Long dip (3+ months): payouts frozen until impressions recover; de-monetization is rare. My tips as a creator: • Keep consistent, high-engagement content: threads, polls, videos, replies. • Aim for roughly 1.7M impressions per month to maintain 5M over 3 months. • Check Analytics > Posts > Impressions regularly to track your rolling total. This discovery was an eye-opener for me. Understanding this “hidden health check” in X’s algorithm helps me plan content strategically and avoid unexpected payout pauses. On the other hand, I could be wrong, but it helps to do your own research. Check your analytics, follow updates, and observe patterns. We welcome everyone to do the same and share the information with others. That is the best way to understand the system and manage our growth. 💞

Just did a quick check and noticed that my old DMs are still showing up on my iPhone. 🤔 From what I have gathered, XChat is rolling out slowly. The shift started around April 2025 but it seems iOS users are being phased in gradually, while Android and web users mostly still see the classic DMs. XChat also uses a 4-digit PIN for encryption and early users reported setup issues, missing notifications, and even older conversations disappearing. Because of that feedback, it seems X is taking a cautious approach before fully switching everyone over. Even though the beta tag was removed, there’s still no final date for a complete transition.
