"With the goal of making private equity investment more liquid through tokenization to finance decarbonization," @Jsicsic founded Keenest 🌱 Why was only 0.1% of French savings invested in private equity? Our findings: → Entry tickets were too high (> €10k on average) ❌ → Non-transparent information (especially on non-financial aspects) ❌ → Very low liquidity (investment horizon of 5-7 years) ❌ To democratize investment in solutions promoting the decarbonization of the economy (which are usually unlisted companies in 99% of cases), we needed to unlock the private equity market. How? → By enabling financing from as little as €100 for Climate Techs ✅ → By making positive environmental impact proofs accessible ✅ → By allowing investors to exit. In just one click. ✅ Through token investment, individuals are exposed to the performance of the companies they finance via Keenest without experiencing the drawbacks (such as being unable to resell their shares when desired). Indeed, our keen investors do not own the shares of the financed companies. It's Keenest that does. This way, there's no need to change the shareholder registry when tokens are transferred (done entirely transparently via the blockchain).
