I don't trust people who refer to Zooble exclusively w she/her Yes he uses any pronouns, but just because she has a femme VA people automatically assume xe is AFAB and therefore, if zey were binary, they would be a woman (not how it works) It just feels like misgendering.

@DreadedNuance @deliharrr Uh yeah because Zooble you can bully w Jax you'd be bullied In the same breath you said "Erm actually I'd respect Zooble because it's a different situation" and yet you STILL misgender them. Yes, ik their pronouns are "any", but I know you only will ever refer to them as "she."

As a Trump supporter: 1) There’s bigger problems in that situation. 2) They have digital bodies, and their real ones are likely gone/dead. Kinda renders the whole thing moot. 3) They’re a small mostly-static band where everyone knows each other by “name”, not a large civilization that needs to maintain itself across multiple generations. It’s much easier to have a high-trust society where you know everyone. When you don’t know everyone, you need common values/rules/concepts/institutions/tribal identity to appeal to, before you can have a high-trust society. 4) The core rules of that digital world are different than the ones in our meat-and-blood world, and thus the unintended downstream consequences (which are what us conservatives are ultimately concerned about, philosophically) are different. Facts don’t care about your feelings, which is why you must pay attention to facts first, but in this situation the facts are LITERALLY different. 5) She’s not being pushy or creepy about it. Just introspective. That’s a LOT easier to respect, especially since she can actually take some criticism and mockery on the chin and not absolutely shatter over it. That shows psychological resiliency, in addition. I expect the replies to my reply will become an absolute cesspit, but I hope this one perspective helped. Frankly I’d much rather be stuck in a digital world with Zooble than Jax.

Zooble is so lucky that everyone in the circus is woketron 3000. Imagine if they got stuck with five middle aged trump supporters.

It actually makes me really sad to see the difference in how Caine reacts to the cast coming back from adventure. In episode 5 tries to gauge their reactions, fix gangle’s mask, and uses a nickname for the cast. In episode 8, he just resorts to being mean ☹️ #TADC #Caine

@NealShusterman As a reader I would LOVE if an author I read complimented their book I was reading I'd recognize you instantly myself because you're my favorite author I'd honestly probably make a fool of myself though but it would be a memory I'd never soon forget

@orxinustfu I like how accessible Ford’s mindscape looks. Just stuff floating around, very vivid but possibly confusing to anyone else. And Stan’s is this dismal Escheresque labyrinth where everything is behind a door, closed off and inaccessible, and then in colour to trick Bill.

why is Stan's mindscape black and white while Ford's is colorful? the stark difference haha
