@tony_calvin Agree. . For the vast majority of owners lucky enough to have a Grade 1 winner, £20k isn’t the difference between owning another one or staying in the game. It's the smallest of plasters applied to the wrong part of the body

This obsession with the top end of the sport and the rich, and letting owners & trainers down the food chain wither on the vine, has to stop. This may well be a very good initiative, but not in isolation and not at the expense of people that need this money to survive/thrive.
