@RachelReevesMP Not our war but you’ve given Ukraine £21.8 billion while your own citizens can’t make ends meet!

This is not our war, but it is now pushing up bills for families and businesses. That’s why keeping costs down is my number one priority – and our economic plan has put us in a stronger position to face this crisis.

I've always turned down 'influencer money' on here. You know, stuff like, "Wow. I've just tried these safe, natural but really scientific tablets for 3 days, and now I'm not fat or mental anymore. #Ad" But now I think I should just do them & raise even more money for animals.

I condemn the brutal Russian air attacks on Ukrainian cities overnight which killed and wounded many civilians. Among those killed was a 12-year-old boy. Yet again, Russia shows it has no interest in peace. We must increase pressure on Putin and give Ukraine the support it needs.

No Slack message. No “network issue.” No dramatic excuse. At 4:18 PM, HR finally texted. Gen Z replied and said, “I realized this isn’t aligned with what I’m looking for.” Boss just stared at the phone. - No shouting. - No argument. - Just a decision. That’s when the team realized something. When people say “Gen Z lacks commitment,” what they really mean is: Gen Z doesn’t stay to be convinced, pressured, or guilted into a bad deal. They listen carefully. They test the reality. And when it doesn’t match the promise, they leave. Not after months. Not after burnout. After lunch. It’s not disrespect. It’s efficiency. And honestly, after everything the old generation normalized… Can you really blame them?

A Gen Z joined the team. Week one. During onboarding, the manager said, “Lunch break is 1 to 2.” Gen Z nodded. At 1:00 PM, He stood up and said, “Going for lunch.” Everyone nodded. 2:00 PM passed. Then 3:00 PM. ↓↓

You won't hear a peep about this from Farage, Tice or Jenrick. Under the Tories, up to 400 hotels were being used to house asylum seekers. With Labour, there are now just 185, with 11 more hotels re-opening to the public, saving the taxpayer £65 million a year.
Alex Norris MP@AlexJJNorris

There were more than 400 asylum hotels under the previous government – that number has been more than halved, with 11 more closing this week. Labour is bringing the asylum system under control.

After 3 years of war, what is happening in Sudan is the greatest humanitarian crisis of the 21st century.   The UK is announcing over £140 million this year for humanitarian support and victims of sexual violence ⬇️

SICK of people saying they want the old UK back. We ALL do. WE want same day GP appointments, ambulances within mins, dentists, a decent police force, good education, affordable food, clean water ways, BUT it’s not migrants who caused this. It was 14 YEARS of Tory austerity!

Hungary has chosen Europe. Europe has always chosen Hungary. A country reclaims its European path. The Union grows stronger. Magyarország Európát választotta. Európa mindig Magyarországot választotta. Egy ország visszatér az európai útjára. Az Unió erősebbé válik.

@narindertweets No-one alive today was either a slave or a slave owner. You can’t be a victim of something that never happened to you. I’m not demanding reparations for the British starving my ancestors.

For too long, the national response to knife crime has lacked the scale and cohesion this threat demands. This week, we published "Protecting Lives, Building Hope", our plan to halve knife crime and to right this wrong - but we did not achieve this on our own. Driving real change around this issue demands input from every part of the system. The contributions of our Coalition to Tackle Knife Crime and their ongoing commitment and dedication to preventing violence cannot be understated. Many have drawn on their own personal tragedy to ensure other families never have to feel the pain of losing a loved one to knife crime. Their insight has proved invaluable in pursuit of our mission to tackle this issue throughout the country. This plan goes further than ever before to ensure young people get the best start in life and to stop those at risk from turning to knife crime. We know tackling violence will not be easy. But in our mission to protect lives and build hope, we will be unrelenting.

No refugee underfunded a hospital. No refugee closed a school. No refugee gave tax breaks to the rich. Instead of scapegoating refugees, let's tackle the real problem: an unjust economic system that concentrates wealth in the hands of the few.

From today, Labour has increased the minimum wage to £12.71 an hour, cut energy bills by £117, frozen prescription charges, expanded sick pay and brought in day one rights at work. Not bad for a government that’s supposedly “no different”.
