Understand York will be covering the players wages, which will take a sizeable chuck out of the Joe Grey compensation. Either way it’s a strong addition to Pools.

@ellishall_12 Think he’ll have EFL offers, wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up as a third choice EQ keeper in Prem.

@JustinHUFC I’m surprised we haven’t offered Farman a deal - very good keeper for this level.

HUFC are working on new targets beyond the current trialists and are hoping to speed things up this week or next. We could see two or three new players come in. I thought we might have made a move for former Barrow and Carlisle goalkeeper Paul Farman.

Morning Pools fans 👋 New trialist involved this week, would you off the striker who scored vs FC and Whitby a deal? Sounds like Pools are nearing that.

Magpie Fish and Chips before watching Hartlepool hopefully put their best foot forward against Whitby. Interested to see how the trialists go.

I’d never rule it out, but it’s looking difficult.
