My money is on that they are seeking to demoralize the base before the midterms. Then they get wiped out in the mid-terms, dems take over the House (and maybe the Senate) and begin going HARD after Trump AND his cabinet, grinding the Trump agenda to a screeching halt. These RINO's loathe Trump and his agenda (and the voters who elected him). They are willing to sacrifice a few seats (probably with agreements for those who get voted out to get cushy K street lobbying jobs) to lame duck Trump with 2 full years left in his term.

They know that the amnesty bill is going nowhere. So the important question is, why are they promoting it right now?
