Bought a relatively expensive card on eBay & tracking number hasn’t updated in a week. Seller says he shipped it but I highly doubt thats true because the tracking says it hasnt even been dropped off at the post office. What can I even do in a situation like this? @CardPurchaser

@cardsbyak @CardPurchaser I’ll definitely let it ride because I want the card but this is just odd. Hopefully it shows up at authentication.

@JuveRmb0 @CardPurchaser I was on the other side of this as a seller, even though I sent it out I had to give a refund and lost out on a 100 dollar card bc tracking never picked up. As a buyer you are protected but give some leeway to see if the card arrives in a bit

@JuveRmb0 @CardPurchaser I was in the same spot you are. I messaged the seller a few times and he was adamant he dropped it off. I wanted the card so I let it ride. Had some take some weird journeys around the country but never had one not delivered.

@WindyCityDugout @CardPurchaser Right lol at least have some proof you dropped it off. My post office always gives me confirmation receipts when I drop off packages.

@JuveRmb0 @CardPurchaser They fail to scan packages all the time. That said, not sure why the seller didn’t get a receipt for an expensive card

At the very least when it leaves authentication you’ll get an update and potentially new tracking number. Dont stress. Set a reminder for on your phone for Monday and keep it off the mind.

@JuveRmb0 @CardPurchaser He is probably stalling for time for the USPS to catch it somewhere along the route and scan it. It does happen. I have had packages take 2 weeks to be delivered as they bounce from hub to hub. Either way your covered with eBay. Hope it shows up soon.

@JuveRmb0 @CardPurchaser I’ve shipped items that weren’t scanned at my post office and didn’t scan until they reached the buyer’s sorting facility. I’d give it a few more days.

@AmazinHOF @CardPurchaser I asked him yesterday if his tracking number says when it’s estimated to arrive at the Authenticator and I’ve gotten crickets back so far. You think tracking will updated if and when it is authenticated? I’ve bought 100+ cards on there & this has never happened.

@JuveRmb0 @CardPurchaser I have had a ton of packages not scanned in by USPS when dropped off. With that said its on the seller to prove it has shipped. If not he is out of luck. He might have taken a chance and lost. Still might show up but you will win with eBay.
