At Med #GrandRounds @nyugrossman today, Orlando M. Gutiérrez, MD, MMSc, Hilda B. Anderson Endowed Chair in Nephrology and Director of the Center for Clinical and Translational Science @uabmedicine, delivered an enlightening talk on navigating bone health in CKD patients. He reviewed the burden of bone disease across the CKD spectrum, highlighted evolving approaches to mineral and bone disorder treatment, and examined how social and built environments can hinder optimal bone and mineral management.
