As we kick off CTE Month across the country, we wanted to say THANK YOU to all of the amazing Career and Technical Education teachers that we have in our region. Thank you for all of the support that you give our students on a daily basis!

As we close out Manufacturing Month we wanted to say THANK YOU!! to the 24 companies that hosted a total of roughly 600 students across the region for tours. Having the chance for students to see and hear about career opportunities in manufacturing is key in development!

Congratulations to @Central301 on receiving College Dual Credit for their new Certified Nursing Assistant Program! These students will receive valuable insight and experience to shape their future healthcare career endeavors.

Happy National Manufacturing Day and Month! To help celebrate on Oct. 16th we will have close to 600 students out touring manufacturing companies right here in our area highlighting the great careers that are available! @ISBEnews

Students across the region and state are getting ready to start picking classes for next year.....but did you know that students involved in a Career Tech Ed program are more likely to graduate from high school? @IllinoisACTE @ISBEnews

Summer Internship Prog. 2025 = 951 applicants, 834 resumes sorted down to 249 candidates. Over 100 more than last year!! It's going to be a great summer!! This couldn't be accomplished without our partners!!

2/2 Attendees were able to hear from a fantastic panel of participating students and company reps on the highlights and challenges with their experiences. We are blessed to have such a great partner in Alignment to help offer such opportunities to our students!

1/2 This past Wednesday we partnered together with the Alignment Collaborative for Education - Elgin to host an event to honor organizations that hosted high school interns last summer. We had roughly 125 people in attendance from over 50 organizations......

Do you know a D300 Junior or Senior who is interested in an apprenticeship after high school? If so, they are invited to attend ECC's Apprenticeship Expo on 11/21. Space is limited and registration closes on 11/18. Transportation will be provided and is required to participate.

Happy Halloween as we cap off a very busy October for our students and it all started with our Future Educators Mini Conference at @NIUCOE. Over 220 students from across our region were able to attend and learn more about their next steps in becoming a teacher!! @D300CTE

Last week we partnered with Northern Kane County Region 110, @StCharlesCoC Industrial Committee, & Alignment Collaborative 4 Education to offer 30+ student tours to members of 10 high schools. Thank you to the 21 companies who hosted!

GRAND TOUR: Central 301 & the @KaneSystem joined forces w/ nearby districts to participate in manufacturing tours this week. 30 students from @301_chs stopped by Sauber in Virgil to see what their 85 employees do for their customers in all 50 states & Canada #WeAreCentral 🚀🚌

Last night we welcomed 8th graders interested in applying to be a part of the @SEHSBEACON magnet academy - it was standing room only!!

A couple of weeks ago D-CHS Culinary III students in Mrs. Hoth's class took a field trip to @ElginCommColl to learn more about their Associate Degrees in Culinary Arts.
