There's a part of me that doesn't want to add to a pile on because lord knows I have not always handled myself with grace in this business, but when it comes to interfering or attempting to interfere with other authors' careers there probably SHOULD be Scorched Earth Messaging.

As someone who's been in publishing for 15 years (a Publishing Crone if you will), a reminder that your debut year can be rough and brings up all kinds of emotions and big feelings, and the absolute best way to get through it is supporting and being supported by your peers.
