I started #OUB329 1 year ago and since then, I am excited to have achieved a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Management (Leadership Practice) with First-class Honours! Good luck to all B329 students this year 😁 #MyXAnniversary

We need to address MH collectively. I have written a report on 'Employee Wellbeing in Multinational Organisations', which outlines how leaders can improve cultural mediation, communication, accessibility and training to reduce psychosocial risks and stress points at work.

The news today might feel scary if you're currently off work for your mental health. We get it 💙 We just want to reassure you that these changes are *not* coming into effect right now. 1/2

Protests are multiplying in efforts to resist widening #inequalities. In response, some governments have taken legal measures to curb this right, silencing the voices of the marginalised in the process. This #IWD2024 conference explores Voice & Protest: ow.ly/toHa50QHKKJ

@HelenBevan How about the perceived required change effort by employees and leadership change willingness to achieve it? Let’s consult our teams during change. Understand what changes are necessary in order to reduce change fatigue.

Change fatigue in the workplace is growing. The "transformation deficit" (the gap between the required change effort as perceived by leaders & employee change willingness to achieve it) is widening. Data shows that the average employee experienced ten planned enterprise changes in 2022, up from two in 2016. Yet further research suggests that employees' ability to cope with change is 50% of pre-pandemic levels. Change has to be seen as an individual process & supported one person at a time says @JennyLMagic: tlnt.com/articles/chang… Via @TLNT_com

1/ #Mindfulness doesn’t need to take up too much time or effort. Taking just a minute out of your day to practise these techniques can help take you out of autopilot and become more aware of the present moment. 🧵👇

My understanding of precarious living in relation to practising leadership has developed. I now see the importance of looking beyond traditional leadership concepts when analysing leadership practices in our contemporary world due to the rise in precarity. #OUB329

Week 2 Key Learning I learnt that #precarity applies to people in work, not just people out of work. Therefore, we need to further understand precarity to shape future leadership practices that engage others in leadership, even if they are unwell or stressed. #OUB329

#OUB329 #B329LeadershipChallenge is underway! My team have used our passion for the wicked challenge of biodiversity pressures to undergo a critical assessment of place versus activist leadership when considering complex contexts and case studies in the UK.
