Idk if anyone cares about this but I just don’t really have many people to talk to about it since it’s such a rare treatment. Plus the surgery is kind of still in the process of being approved by the FDA or CDC or whoever does that

I’m 4 days out from my surgery now, wanted to share a little bit more (as much as I can without violating my NDA) Basically my whole life I’ve had schizophrenia that caused me to suffer nervous breakdowns due to paranoid delusions and visual/auditory hallucinations. (THREAD)

The treatment involves a bunch of doctors cutting my head open and sticking stuff inside my brain, so that’s, like, totally cool! As terrifying as it is it’s awesome to be a part of cutting edge science.
