@okaygworl I love this for you and you get it! I’ve met some of my bf family and friends and they’re great but I’ve had experiences in the past that’ve turned me off from that experience. However, it’s still necessary in relationships,no matter what reservations I have it must be done!

@KayStiltz SAME. lol We both agreed to get it out the way in the beginning. He met my family on Thanksgiving and I met his on Christmas. Thankfully, we both live states away from both our families.

Is it crazy to not be interested in meeting your significant other’s friends and family????????

If you had a bad experience before, your brain is just trying to protect you. It’s normal geeeez, Nobody’s excited to walk back into a situation that once made them feel judged, uncomfortable, or unwelcome!?!? Completely fair. It can also mean you value peace and don’t want unnecessary drama in your relationship. Hope this helps ladies ❤️
