TAUNTON VS. STOUGHTON: SOFTBALL Taunton 12 Stoughton 8 April 8, 2026. In the battle of undefeated teams, Taunton won 12-8 against Stoughton in a league game. Taunton’s Victoria Corrao 2 doubles, 2 RBIs, 1 walk, Mia Torres 2 hits, 1 walk, 2 RBIs, Gracie Oliveira 2 hits, 1 walk, Ashlyn Hebert 2 hits, 2 walks and Kaylee Lopes 1 hit, 2 walks, 1 RBI all helped to power the Tigers on offense. Ella Parece pitched a strong game in relief. Stoughton had an outstanding game with Liliana Shirey at bat as she had a home run, double and 5 RBIs. Kayla Monaghan 3 hits, 1 RBI and Kelsey Whitman 2 hits, 1 RBI also had hits and drove in runs. Down 2-0 to start the bottom of the second inning, Taunton exploded for 6 runs and then another 4 runs in the third inning to capture the win and remain undefeated in 2026. Taunton is now 5-0 in 2026. Stoughton is now 4-1 in 2026. Taunton’s Aniyah Bailey powered the Tigers as she connected with 2 home runs and 3 RBIs in the win. Bella Bourque led the team in hits with 3. Ashlyn Hebert had a triple and 3 RBIs. Victoria Corrao 2 hits, 1 RBI, Gracie Oliveira 2 hits, 1 RBI and Kaylee Lopes 2 hits, 1 stolen base helped in the win to keep Taunton undefeated in 2026. Eighth Grader Ella Parece continues to impress with 9 strikeouts as she picked up the win and is a perfect 4-0 in 2026. Franklin was led by Phoebe O’Connor with 2 hits, 3 RBIs and Ava Florest 2 hits, 1 RBI. Franklin scored 7 runs in the third inning to take a 7-1 lead over Taunton. However, the Taunton Tigers clawed back, scoring 9 unanswered runs and the Taunton defense and pitching were outstanding in the comeback win. Taunton is now 4-0 in 2026. TAUNTON VS. NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH: SOFTBALL Taunton 11 North Attleboro 3 April 4, 2026. Taunton defeated North Attleboro 11-3 in a league game. Taunton’s Bella Bourque had a standout game as she reached base on all 5 batting attempts that included a solo Home Run, 2 singles, 1 walk, 1 hit by pitch and had 3 RBIs. Aniyah Bailey had a dynamic game as she reached base 4 times in the game that included a 2-run Home Run, single, walk, an error and had 3 RBIs. Also shining for the Tigers, Kaylee Lopes had 2 hits, 1 RBI, Mia Torres had 2 hits, 1 walk, 2 stolen bases, Grace Simmons 2 hits, 1 RBI and Eighth Grade pitcher Ella Parece earned her third win of the season and struck out 5 batters. North Attleboro had 2 hits and 1 RBI each from Jill Lewicki and Grace Forman. Lindsey DeGirolamo and Molly Willey each had 2 hits. Taunton Home Run Spotlights: Bella Bourque hit her first Home Run of the 2026 season on a solo shot high over the fence in left field in the third inning. Aniyah Bailey hit her first Home Run of the season, a 2-run bomb that blazed like a rocket deep over the center field fence in the fourth inning. Taunton Defensive Stars: Kaylee Lopes made an exceptional play in the bottom of the second inning making a great catch in right field for an out and then fired the ball with velocity on target to catcher Aniyah Bailey who tagged out the runner at home plate who attempted to score after tagging up for a double play that ended the inning. Kaylee made 3 great catches for outs in the game. Victoria Corrao also played a strong game on defense making plays. Taunton scored 2 runs in the first inning, 1 in the third, 4 in the fourth, 1 in the sixth and 3 in the seventh inning. Taunton is now (3-0) in 2026. Taunton Junior Aniyah Bailey reached base 3 times on 1 hit (double), 2 walks and added 1 RBI for her 100th high school career run batted in. Bella Bourque had 2 hits (Double, Single) 1 walk and 2 RBIs and Ashlyn Hebert had 2 hits and 1 RBI helped to power the offense.
