@brexitblog_info Why do you 'love' Brexit which has done incredible damage to our economy and made us weaker internationally?
English

@SamanthaTaghoy Are you really from the Catholic Herald? Is that where we are now ? Do you really think your actions are Christian aka from the New Testament??! Flabbergasted
English

@PrimaiLFC @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap That's palpably untrue. Have a look at any of the comments only be post ballot
English

@KeithGreaves2 @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap Most people who watch games through a screen are glory hunters who choose Liverpool over their local club because of the higher level. And those prices aren’t set by the club, they’re controlled by the broadcasters, so there’s not much you can do about that

@paulwilsonlfc @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap Voted labour all my life, it shouldn't be a political thing but you're clearly too thick for a debate.
English

@KeithGreaves2 @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap Sounds like a good man of the people Gareth is on a losing battle i didn't realise so many Tory cunts supported our club
English

@paulwilsonlfc @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap Their sentiment is absolutely irrelevant & the value is immaterial. It's like owning an aircraft carrier, no one is likely to buy it bar oil tycoons whereupon you would wet your knickers. If sentiment is ur bag then Gareth Roberts can run it and our derby will be Prescot Cables.
English

@KeithGreaves2 @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap Got the club on the cheap for £295m now its worth 4b if you think FSG give a fuck about fans then you're clueless idiot
English

@_lfcsb @JamesPearceLFC @SpionKop1906 @spiritofshankly @culturedlfc @LFC_LGBT Amazing just how much loyalty changes in importance - it's in short supply for the guy who steered us to the title last year it seems.
English

As LFC supporters we are often told how important we are on some of our famous nights.
We’re the backdrop and imagery on which the club sells so much.
Supporter voices are needed now more than ever - tell us what you think 👇

@paulwilsonlfc @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap Rescued the club from £ disaster, built a world class stadium & team. The best thing to happen to the club since Bill S. If you don't want oil £ or the FSG approach, pls list alternatives. Er... cue nothing as usual.
English

@PrimaiLFC @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap As mentioned earlier it will be one of a number of initiatives. Prices have been frozen for years & the increase is minimal. If anyone is being shafted it's us non regular attenders paying 💰💰 to watch on diff platforms. People need to give their head a wobble.
English

@KeithGreaves2 @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap Saying that an increase in ticket prices which make up around 16% of Liverpool’s income helps cover costs is ridiculous. The increase would barely fund 1/100 of Wirtz. Would you rather have day trippers and tourists sitting there with their cameras out filming the whole game?
English

@tonymc39 Christ there's others out there - thought it was just me. If I was John Henry I'd seriously consider saying F off and do it yourselves then. The amount of people exaggerating an issue to fake virtue signal themselves is appalling
English

Questioning the LFC ticket price rise is valid, although I’m puzzled at how many times I’ve seen the word ‘greed’ used.
FSG have never taken a penny out of the club in 15 years. As far as I can see no individuals will benefit financially from the rise, so how is it ‘greed’?

Liverpool FC can confirm it will increase general admission ticket prices limited to inflation for the next three seasons, while freezing junior and local general tickets at £9 each. 🔗 lfc.tv/4t9lOKn
English

@PrimaiLFC @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap Yep I think last summer - the transfer dealings and other issues are the cause of the current malaise. As fans the vast majority of us were chuffed at the time of the signings but when things don't go well you have to lay out more & costs rise.
English

@KeithGreaves2 @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap If costs are rising, they should have thought about that before spending £125m on Alexander Isak and looked at cheaper alternatives instead of passing the bill onto the supporters. Go back to moneyball. This club has deep working class roots and should be for the people
English

@spiritofshankly How can we be "leading the way" in pricing out fans when we're about 14th in the table of average general admission ticket prices.

@spiritofshankly 703m in revenue… not profit.
2 years ago they operated at a loss.
I’m convinced you people just want to have a moan.
English

@PrimaiLFC @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap It will be one of a number of things they do. Putting things up in line with inflation is almost always an indication that costs are rising rather than a naked attempt at profit raking.
English

@KeithGreaves2 @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap Ticket revenue makes up about 16% of Liverpool’s total income. If you take away hospitality, it’s closer to single digits. The idea that increasing ticket prices makes us more competitive is one of the biggest bits of nonsense I’ve heard in a long time, it’s pure greed
English

@PrimaiLFC @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap For me it was £1.20 . If I goto Marine - it's £17. Football is not cheap anywhere. Plus if you go to town on & Friday or Sat night it's booming with people paying nearly £100 for a night out. We buy the best players for the best wages yet our adm prices are low in comparison
English

@KeithGreaves2 @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap My bad. When I was growing up it cost £8 to get in. Even accounting for inflation, prices today wouldn’t be anywhere near what they are now.
I know many people who have already been priced out. This is a working class city where a lot of people are struggling to make ends meet
English

@AnythingLFC_ @LFC Sadly the people who hark back to the 1970s and 1980s and a dilapidated ground aren't interested in this sort of logic.
English

🗣️ @LFC - Current match ticket prices on the Kop have not risen in more than 15 years, since FSG took ownership of the club – against a backdrop of cumulative inflationary rise across the economy of 45 per cent in that period.

English

@PrimaiLFC @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap These include hospitality which completely distorts things and I don't think is what people are complaining about. The maximum price in the ground is £63 anyway so the average can't be £74 - rather it's around £50. And as such we are at the lower end of the table.
English

@KeithGreaves2 @_lfcsb @TheAnfieldWrap These are the average ticket prices this season, and that’s even before the increases for next season

English

@JayMcKenna87 Because we demand the best players, who demand the best wages.
Supporters have a simple choice, nobody is forced to go and anfield will be sold out every week regardless.
English

Earlier this year the club posted record revenues of over £700m.
This increase generates them just £1.2m. Or 3 weeks of Mo Salah if you’d like
The question has to be why, and why can’t we find ways that sees club revenues grow but supporters not paying more?

@TheAnfieldWrap Christ, it's only going up by inflation likes.
