@JoshuaLisec I remember Mercedes, my grand parents house keeper was barely able to clean by the end. She did several houses in the neighborhood and I remember my grandfather setting up a 401k for her.

A message to my beloved customers,
Keivan here, owner of Zendiggi Kebab House. For nearly 15 years, it has been my honor and joy to serve you our delicious and wholesome Persian food here in Closter.
The last few years have been incredibly difficult for us and restaurants in general. The pandemic changed everything: dining rooms don’t fill up the way they once did, ride-share delivery services take large commissions (often destroying profit entirely), and remote work has nearly eliminated the lunch crowd. Despite these challenges, my wife and I kept pouring everything we had—our savings, our time, and our hearts—into the business.
We work long days, seven days a week, often staying open late and on holidays. I focused on making every plate better: creating delicious specials, cooking traditional Persian dishes with the quality ingredients, and even mastering the art of baking our own sourdough pitas. We built a top tier espresso bar and created our flagship Rose Pistachio Latte. We served our local schools working with the wonderful PTO moms who run the school lunch programs. We started live music nights, which have brought incredible Jazz, indie and vocalists to our community and turned Zendiggi into a beautiful, intimate venue.
But after a brutal winter and other unexpected emergencies compounded with some difficult life events, we’ve fallen behind on rent and bills. Our wonderful landlords have been incredibly patient and supportive, but we’ve now reached a crossroads. We either come up with the funds we need very soon, or we’ll have no choice but to close our doors forever.
I love this restaurant, our amazing team, and the deep roots we’ve grown in the Closter community. More than anything, I love serving all of you. Instead of quietly disappearing, I felt it was the right thing to do to give those who care about us the chance to help keep Zendiggi alive.
We still have so many dreams: more specials, more live music, more fresh-baked sourdough breads, giant group platters, and new community projects. We just need a little help to get through this rough period of time.
If you’re able, please consider supporting us through our GoFundMe, come in for a meal, bring a friend, or simply share this message. Every bit of support—whether a donation, an order, or a kind word—means the world to us.
If you can’t help right now, please don’t feel bad. I’m deeply grateful for every meal I’ve had the chance to cook for you over the years. And if these next few weeks end up being our last, I will be here working on perfection till the last moment.
Serving you has been the privilege of a lifetime. I hope things work out and we can continue serving you for many more to come.
Thank you for everything,
Keivan

Iranian woman in Australia tells her story about escaping the Islamic regime in Iran:
“No one is Muslim in Iran. After 47 years of Islamic regime, we all hate Islam.
Under Sharia, we can’t have dogs, women can’t sing, and I would be killed for dressing like this.
We are peaceful people. We just want normal lives and to live in peace with everyone.”
Free Iran from the Islamic regime!

@maxyourtest I am a l-citrulline believer. A must for anyone’s supplement stack. It’s pretty short acting though, I really suggest more than 1 dose a day
English

@DanielBordmanOG @HanShawnity This. No sense in jumping into the wood chipper especially since the regime has said “we will fucking smoke you on sight if you protest”
English

@HanShawnity Because the United States, Israel and the Crown Prince have all told them to stay safe inside for now.
English

I'm trying to understand something about the Iranian people.
Just a few months ago you were slaughtered by the thousands for protesting and demanding your freedom.
You begged for help. Help came.
The US and Israel have been bombing Iranian regime targets mercilessly for weeks now.
Why aren't you rising up?
You won't get this opportunity again. It's now or never.
I'm not here to judge. I understand the regime consists of savages who wouldn't hesitate to murder thousands more. But they're killing you anyway, and if you really want your freedom like you say you do, now's the time.
Your future is up to you. You can't expect other people to do it for you.

@nypost LOVE CHILD? You mean SON. I have the pleasure to know Joseph and call him a friend for years and he is one the kindest human beings there is. This young man works his butt off and deserves more respect than an ignorant headline for clicks and views. Shame on you. Do better.

@shiri_shh List 5 use cases where it would make sense to spend a “couple thousand dollars an hour” to light the outdoor space. 🤔

@DennisN @_Jase_C_ @yashar Baba Jan explain it to him.
This is like when other groups say “you put no effort into understanding me”
Ok tell me what I should know..
“Ugh you will never have my lived experience and can never understand” puts back of hand to forehead and faints onto narcissism couch

I’m going to start a similar campaign that will make just as much sense with respect to the structure of this messaging.

I'm Persian, I'm NOT a Muslim

Persians lament being conquered by Islam. They posees one of the grandest and longest lasting cultures on the planet. They take great pride in maintaining their culture and language. Those Persians hate the government, which is an Islamic government, so the video is a rebellion against Islam.
Their original religion was Zoroastrianism, my grandmother was one. One god, worship fire, love dogs.
In reality many of the things that Persians will point to as cultural pride, beautiful buildings poets etc were the result of the full integration of Islam into the culture. The gov is so horrible and repressive that it is generating this reaction.

@TomatoBubble @menavisualss Here is the reality.

“Dancing is a red line.” That’s what a young girl dancing was told by the morality police in Iran. Under the regime in Iran, girls aren’t just told how to dress. They’re also told they can’t dance in public. Imagine growing up in a country where even dancing can get you into trouble. This is what Iranians have been dealing with for decades. And somehow, the world still manages to look the other way.

Not. A. Fucking. Word.
The barbarians of the Khamenei regime didn’t just kill a boy yesterday...they publicly hanged a 19-year-old prodigy, Saleh Mohammadi, bronze medalist on Iran’s national wrestling team, a rising star who bled for glory on the mat and dared to bleed for freedom in the streets of January’s protests.
They dragged him to Qom Central Prison, strapped the noose around that young neck, and dropped the floor while the world watched.
“Enmity against God,” they called it...torture-extracted confessions from show trials that would shame the Inquisition.
This wasn’t execution; this was ritual slaughter, medieval psychopathy dressed in clerical robes, the regime’s pathology laid bare:
terrified of its own vitality, it devours its strongest sons to instill fear in the herd.
And the Western Left?
Those pathological frauds, those soulless architects of selective outrage?
Not. A. Fucking. Word.
Where are the campus screamers who torch cities over “genocide” when a Hamas butcher stubs his toe?
Where are the blue-check “human rights” clerics who flood timelines with keffiyeh cosplay and crocodile tears for every narrative that flatters their ideological masturbation?
Crickets.
Deafening, gut-wrenching silence.
Because this atrocity doesn’t fit their Freudian script:
the oppressor isn’t the white West or Israel...it’s their beloved “resistance” incarnate, a theocratic death cult that aligns perfectly with their inverted morality.
Nietzsche warned us:
Resentment poisons the soul until evil becomes virtue and strength becomes sin.
The Left didn’t just look away; they enabled it with their philosophical cowardice, their postmodern relativism that excuses barbarism as “cultural,” their Marxist pathology that sees only power dynamics when it serves the tribe.
This is the necrotic core of progressive hypocrisy exposed:
they don’t mourn the hanged athlete because mourning him would require admitting their “allies” are the real monsters.
They don’t rage because rage would shatter the fragile edifice of their self-deception.
They are not compassionate...they are complicit cowards, psychological vampires who feed on manufactured victims while real ones swing from ropes.
Saleh Mohammadi’s blood is on their hands too, every silent one of them.
The regime’s rope is physical; the Left’s silence is the noose they tighten around truth itself.
Fuck their performative piety.
Fuck their selective tears.
History will record this not just as Iranian savagery, but as the West’s moral suicide...willingly, gleefully, one hanged wrestler at a time.
