It was hard to hold it together in this specific scene.. Ushio was searching for the robot toy nonstop because it was the very first gift Tomoya ever gave her. That’s something you simply can’t just swap out. When someone you really care for gives you something that significant, it’s not something that can be replaced for some. Tomoya realizes her loneliness and his own absence as a father and asks if he can stay with her from now on, promising to do his best. What really got to me was when Ushio asks if it’s okay to finally not hold it in anymore and cry in her father’s arms, and they embrace as she breaks down crying...
