I would like to remind everyone that hitting an all time peak, 2 weeks after launch, is incredibly rare, and typically only reserved for the most successful games.
Arc Raiders was the last game to do this.

Crimson Desert has already sold over 3 million copies in just five days. When people called it “fantasy medieval Red Dead Redemption,” I knew I had to try it…and so far I’m loving it (the horses and cats are a big plus). But I’ve also hit some rough spots, which made me curious about what really happened behind the scenes.

@TheDezembro Never understood the obsession with realism. What looked realistic 10 years ago looks dated by today's standards and it'll be the same with current games 10 years from now.
SNES games still look great, some PS2 games hold up to this day (looking at you Zone of the Enders 2)

I listened to IGN's writers whine about the review process rather than talk about the game, some had a chip on their shoulder that had nothing to do with the game itself.
Also noticed that reviewer concerns flat out didn't reflect player experience. Wildly different priorities.

Radical activists are screaming at ICE agents during a detention of a woman who’s in the country illegally. She had a young child with her and claimed it was her daughter, but couldn’t provide any documentation. Situations like this are exactly why agents have to verify everything. People underestimate how often children are brought across the border without clear proof of parentage or legal status and then go on to be trafficked.
