In what Gerard Prunier called Africa World War, it all started with the Fleeing Hutus seeking refuge in the Eastern part of Congo after the killings of over 1 million Tutsis and moderate Hutus an event known as the Rwanda Genocide of 1994. The RPF had seized government but alarmed at the possibility of a future attack from Congo got involved in the internal politics of the then Zaire. Uganda, Rwanda and the rebel forces of Kabila waged the first Africa world war which led to the fall of Mobutu's dictatorship and subsequent government of Laurent Desiré Kabila. His disagreement with his former allies would end up in a war that drew 13 African countries and more than 25 militias. The war would end in 2003 a few years after the assassination of Kabila. #africa #congo #rwanda #uganda #namibia #zimbabwe #angola #sudan #libya

@Bladgara @Ohams4NewNaija @ChuksEricE My brother I have been praying for the West fallout with the North and a possibility of North and East alignment especially with an Obi who has wider national reach. I can bet anything Amaechi won’t even win his own State!

@KhingPharaoh @Ohams4NewNaija @ChuksEricE You are smart! You get sense. That alignment is important and Only Obi has that national clout and charisma to foster such alignment. And as you said, “Now or Never”

Bola is not ready to subsidize nothing for Nigerians not minding that the poverty gap keeps on widening. Fuel subsidy was a scam okay, how have you tried to improve electricity supply? Have you introduced transport alternatives knowing that your country is heavily reliant on fuel

@Ohams4NewNaija @ChuksEricE @Bladgara The best alignment that can ever break the marginalization and persecution we have suffered for years can only happen with the North. It’s actually a now or never thing.

It is not a matter of him being alone. It is a matter of the fact that Igbos are easy targets. All Tinubu needs to do is start demolishing Alaba, Idumota and several houses in Lekki and then pay some top Igbo leaders heavily to pressure Obi to quit the fight. The cost would be too much for Ndi Igbo. We’ve suffered enough for Nigeria. Let another tribe go. 2027 will not be 2023.

@Ohams4NewNaija @ChuksEricE @Bladgara There’s always a price to pay! You either pay now and finally take your place or delay the price. My own father also left me cocoa farms in the west. Ordinarily I should be worried too. My brother it’s just one shot that’s worth every price or we remain the we are.

Anybody thinking that Tinubu will leave office in 2027 because he lost on the ballot does not know who Tinubu is. I’m not talking about elections here. If I get the ADC ticket, I will beat Tinubu on election day. This is beyond elections. Tinubu is ready to watch the country burn to ashes to ensure he remains in power. Anybody who can’t stand that level of madness should not be on the ballot. Only Amaechi can stand that level of madness among all the current ADC candidates. Tinubu cant do anything to Ikwere people. Wike is also Ikwere. Amaechi is the strategic guy to lead this fight. Atiku is too old and gentle for the madness of 2027.

@Ohams4NewNaija @ChuksEricE @Bladgara Tinubu has actually messed up his good relationship with the CPC faction of the APC. Those who are still with him are there primarily because of the appointments. It’ll be bad politics to hand the ticket to a northern candidate and Amaechi is a blind bet. Their best remains Obi

If Obi wins and becomes president of Nigeria, that would be one of my greatest joys. But I know that the chances of Obi leading a fight against Tinubu and winning is less than 15%. Tinubu will play the Igbo card and it would be game over. As much as I like Obi and want him to win, he is a weak point for the opposition in 2027.

@Ohams4NewNaija @ChuksEricE @Bladgara Those interested in the presidency in 2031 will rally behind Obi and work for him to win. A candidate that polled 5.8 million votes without structure will don magic with their Backing! Obi is your president just start understanding that now.

@Ohams4NewNaija @ChuksEricE @Bladgara ADC ticket is between Atiku and Obi. Kwankwaso wants the VP with Obi and he’s obviously delivering his delegates to Obi, El Rufai has maintained power should remain in the south and so that he can contest in 2031. Atiku will hinder those chances. Obi has tested his powers already

"If you have no right to breathe, what right do you have? While people are fighting for elections, and painting banners of Tinubu, and everybody's worrying about APC, PDP, LP, you are being killed. At what point will the people care about life?” Alex Barbir
Ozor Ndi Ozor@OzorNdiOzor

Alex Barbir chose to run a project himself instead of handing funds over to the Benue State Government, due to the clear mismanagement of the ₦4 billion already donated for the same purpose. Alex got directly involved because the victims of Yelwata were found laying around In IDP Camps without proper toilets, bathrooms, or food meant to be provided by the government to which a whooping N4 billion was entrusted with. After the Yelwata attacks, the Yelewata market was among the infrastructure destroyed, leaving victims in IDP camps. And as part of his humanitarian effort, Alex Barbir offered to directly handle the market reconstruction. What did the Benue state government did? It presented Alex with a proposal that would cost ₦300 million. Alex stated he could complete the same market project for ₦50–60 million, which was a fraction of the government figure. The Government massively inflating the cost. He did not proceed with the market project through or with the Benue State Government. Instead, Alex bypassed the government entirely and focused his resources on direct, on-ground rebuilding of other priority infrastructure: new homes, and completed 35–40 houses), churches, clinics, and boreholes for water. According to him, he personally spent over ₦90 million on the Yelewata projects alone. Alex declare that "With ₦1 billion, I can build 3,000 homes." Now ask yourself, What sort of minor market building reconstruction project would cost Benue state Government N300 million? And this is how Benue state government missed out on a rare foreign aid because of greed and selfishness. This is the Alex Barbir that the Arewa influencers claim to incite hatred and violence. For every expression Alex made, Gumi, Pantami and many more have made a thousand more disastrous remarks that solidifies their unobvious solidarity with terrorists. The choice of being swayed by the hypocrisy, manipulative lies and deceit of bandwagon propagandists is now a personal decision.

“what the whole theatre actors/actresses are suppose to suff£r, i suff£r£red it alone in one place and one year. there’s a town all the popularly known actors always go to make film, in a day 10 cameras can roll in that town. thats some actors home now. whenever we were shooting there, the villagers dont want us trying to record their Oro (traditional rite). they called us to a meeting and we told we will never do that because we understand the culture too. then one day they announced their Oro festival that lasted for 18 days, with 3 strict which no one must come outside. we were asked to leave the village because of the festival. some people and some stayed, i didn’t leave, one of our boss Disu and late Asinde stayed too. i told the villagers i want to know how the Oro is being done, i said how would i be inside and my fellow men will tell me not to come outside. they fortified me and told me what i will say whenever the Oro people ask me questions. many visitors always came to celebrate with them, it’s like the masquerade festival. more than 400 people were in attendance, i went to kn0ck people doors that i was out with the Oro people, when i get to front of my house, one of them called me a and asked why i am outside, they asked me the Oro questions i answered but i forgot one of them that’s how they be@t me mercilessly about 400 of them…” - Nollywood actor, Ali Agboola says

I am from Kano, which is why I will never undermine the political strength of Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. In my active political life, only the late President Buhari was able to consistently defeat him at both the state and national levels. We will certainly make every effort to do that again, but one thing is clear, it will not come easy.

There’s no version of Nigeria in which we northerners would ever vote for Peter Obi as president. It’s never going to happen. Even if you pair him with the Sultan of Sokoto, not just Kwankwaso, we still won’t vote for him.
