ALERT: 70-year-old pilot dragged out of a plane that crashed into a parking lot in Pacoima, California. The single-engine Cessna crashed into an autoparts store parking lot and struck high voltage powerlines on the way down, causing the plane to flip upside down. The pilot, who was the only person on board, was then treated by the Los Angeles Fire Department before being transferred to a hospital nearby. It is unclear what his current condition is.

@Christophe74732 @povcops The officer stated the crime as disorderly conduct, not trespassing. His evidence was hearsay based on a call which does not provide reasonable suspicion. Penn V Mimms allows police to order you out of the car on a traffic stop. This was not a traffic stop. Lawsuit still ongoing

@povcops It’s a terry stop . They absolutely can order him out of the car and arrest him for non compliance.

Dumb move by the cops for sure. They they got somebody killed, whether he was innocent or not, that’s not the cops job to decide, that’s the judge, and then they got a persons property completed destroyed in the process too. All they had to do was stop the chase, wait for sighting, then get them when they stop which happens all the time.
