Malami who supervised the atrocity is in the ADC today and I don’t see anyone complaining. He didn’t stop at that, they searched the houses of Judges at night. He banned Twitter too, Malami supervised it and threatened to imprison us, he’s a stakeholder in ADC today.

The people who supported a President that removed the Chief Justice of the Federation using an ex-parte motion are here telling us about NADECO. Clowns!

@WeYoruba33675 This is generally poor though. 56% (if true)is embarrassingly low for Yorubas. Yorubas should not have less than 85% literacy level for both genders by now with the headstart Awolowo gave us 60+ years ago.

Now can you compare the education rate of Edo men and women which 74.2% and 59.5% which only represents 4 million and 4.5million to Yoruba population of educated men and women which is 56.8% and 70.3% which represents approx 15 million and 29 million respectively? No! Get that!

The colonial Nigerian police force were not allowed to use guns but only sticks to enforce the law? That is how they got the name "olópàá" from the Yoruba people which translates to "A person with a stick"

So I was reading an article about the archeology of Ife and apparently they found iron nails on the EXACT site where the one of the theorized tiled roofs were found. I feel like this is as close as you can get to confirmation without having the actual building infront of you.

Detailed thread on the different roof styles of Ife. I get many (valid!) questions about this so I thought it would be great to break it down all at once. The roofing style also suprised me so I can understand why many are curious.

Yoruba & Akan cognates show the relatedness that the Yam belt cultures can exhibit without the need for mass migration. Local AI language initiatives like @GhanaNLP could possibly help reconstruct Proto-Niger-Congo languages or find cognates between languages.
