This isn’t classist, it’s the truth. When people come from a poorer background, to where they CAN romanticize yours, they actually always end up jealous, insecure, and counting themselves out when it comes to YOU, not the other way around. Many suburban black women learn the hard way that a man not raised like you, will always have a different mindset than you (extreme survival mode). You saw it with the way KC counted himself out with Aniyah— claiming “she comes from a good family” and that Titi came more from a family like himself. Aniyah loved KC, but he counted himself out when it came to HER, based on nothing feeling worthy. I have family from the hood, and this is the ELITIST way that THEY ironically behave based on their own LACK!
