The U.S. Army is still declining to release the name of the female Blackhawk helicopter pilot at the family's request. This is extremely odd. It is only going to fuel more suspicion that military policies may have played a role in the crash. The public seems to have a right to know in this case, since the story has become a national policy matter. Do you believe the Army should release the name of the pilot?

My understanding is the burned areas and evacuation zones are under curfew to deter looting and just general curious people who could be harmed by live electrical wires and gas leaks and the like. But everything keeps changing every ten minutes. I have two local news channels on in my place and I’m on X and reading all the LAFD alerts and like literally everything just trying to make sure I don’t miss any alerts that could get me trapped in a dangerous situation. It’s chaos I don’t know what else to say. No one really has any idea what’s going on. We are all just trying to do our best and figure it out and keep up with an ever changing, confusing, chaotic situation where a lot of people are panicking or reeling from massive loss. It’s tragic I don’t know what else to say.

Okay no fcking clue what’s going on now but there’s a MASSIVE police presence like I’ve never seen right now heading east on the ten near downtown Los Angeles. I’ve never seen that long of a line of law enforcement in LA and they’re not heading towards any evacuation zone or active fire (the opposite direction actually). I have no idea what’s going on. Anyone in Los Angeles know what this is?
