Ironically the first time I ever read anything questioning the rationale for vaccines (way back in 1993) was in ‘Animal Liberation’ by Peter Singer who makes a strong case for animal rights and an end to vivisection. In the book he outlines several examples of disease reductions preceding the introduction of vaccines to illustrate why use of animals in the testing of medications including vaccines is not only cruel but is also pointless. It’s ironic because many progressives in the animal welfare/rights space abhor RFK Jr for his sceptical position on vaccines and yet here he is supporting bigger wins for animals and the anti-vivisection movement than any animal welfare scientist or activist could ever have dreamed possible. You’ve simply got to ♥️ this man 👏 #animalwelfare #RFKjr #Stoptheshots
Wayne Hsiung@waynehhsiung

RFK, the most powerful man in medical research, says: -We need to end all animal testing -The badge of a humane nation is how it cares for animals -Animal testing is corrupt and profits from useless research This is mind blowing and shows the growing power of animal rights!

Is there a religious revival happening or not? Yes, is the answer. It's small and tentative, but hard data like increased adult baptisms in a lot of countries bears it out. Good news for Easter weekend. (Link in replies).

On this sacred day, many families across Ireland pause to reflect on faith, sacrifice, and the enduring values that have shaped our country. The image of the Cross reminds us of duty, resilience, and the strength found in belief. These are not abstract ideals. They are the foundations of family, community, and nation. Ireland’s story is deeply rooted in Christian tradition. It has guided our sense of right and wrong, our care for one another, and our respect for human dignity. Today is a moment to reflect quietly. To remember the meaning behind the sacrifice. To recommit to the values that hold our society together. Faith still matters. Family still matters. Ireland still matters. #GoodFriday #Faith #Ireland #Tradition #Community

This is depraved. The world is currently being turned upside down to “defend Israel’s democracy”. Israel started this war. The resulting fuel crisis will cause mass starvations across the poorest countries in the world, Sudan etc. How many new refugees will flock to Europe because of this? Livelihoods across the developed world are about to be destroyed. The world is in total chaos right now. Meanwhile Israel continues to invade Lebanon.… they are not stopping anytime soon. They need to be.

I think I know why everything sucks... ...and it's because everything is fake We are getting fake college degrees that cost 4 years and six figures that teach you fake education and get you fake jobs. We are eating fake food, with fake ingredients, funded by fake research. We are scrolling through fake lives, with fake relationships, who take fake, curated vacations to promote brands that make fake products. We are voting for fake candidates, who run on fake promises, inside a fake system that was never designed to fix anything. We are raising kids in fake schools that teach fake history, fake science, which quietly produce fake adults who can't think for themselves. We are watching fake news, about fake crises, produced by fake journalists, for fake outrage. We are borrowing fake money that was printed from nothing, to fund a fake economy that would collapse in an afternoon if people stopped pretending it was real. We are buying fake organic food that's just a paid label, and drinking fake juice with two percent juice in it, and putting fake cheese on cheeseburgers that's just "cheese product" on fake burger meat. We are donating to fake nonprofits where the moeny never makes it to the people and then funding fake foreign aid that buys real weapons to prop up fake governments. We are going to fake therapy that teaches fake coping skills instead of telling you hard truths. We are buying fake furniture made of fake wood that's actually compressed sawdust and glue that looks like wood, ships in fourteen boxes with instructions written in a fake language that isn't quite any language, requires tools it doesn't include, takes 4 hours to build, wobbles on day 1, and is totally destroyed in 6 months. We are downloading fake "free" apps that charge a subscription after three days for AI features that don't work, hidden behind a paywall we didn't see, protected by a privacy policy we didn't read, buried inside Terms of Service written by lawyers specifically so we wouldn't read them, that we agreed to by tapping a button the size of a thumbnail, that gave a company we've never heard of the right to sell our data to companies we'll never hear of, to build a profile on us we'll never see, to influence decisions we'll never know were made. IT. IS. ALL. FAKE. And we all yearn for what was once real. Don't you remember? Did you forget? There was a time with a simple handshake between men was a contract. When bread went stale because... well, that's what real bread does! When kids played outside all day until it was dark, and nobody tracked them. When a family could live off a single income. When music was made by people who LIVED something real and you could feel it. When schools was HARD... and that was the point! When doctors knew your name and your family, they even came to your house, When you bought something once... and it was yours forever. When the chair your grandmother bought once lasted 70 years and she passed it onto your dad. And now nothing is real, and that's why everything sucks.

This is a terrible and deaf decision by the government of Israel. Inexcusable, the justifications are unacceptable. I hope to see an appropriate apology, and undertaking that this will never happen again.

My article in today's @IrishTimes got a predictable response on here but the only one that has really given me a moment of negative introspection is the one that says it was badly written. Now all I see are possible rewrites.

UN Watch@UNWatch

🔥 BEST VIDEO OF THE YEAR Rare moment of truth at the UN from brave Kuwaiti dissident @JJJuraid, invited by UN Watch: Mr. Chair, I heard the term “colonizers.” But who are the real colonizers? A Jewish Kingdom ruled in Judea for a thousand years. We, the Arabs, took this land. Who Arabized Egyptians, Phoenicians, Persians and Amazighs? It was us, the Arabs. So why does the council enshrine a lie by keeping a permanent agenda item on Palestine, while ignoring the indigenous heart of Israel returning home? Let us be clear about who is actually defending our sovereignty. Today, Israel is a fighter for peaceful nations, freeing Gaza from Hamas and saving Iranians from the Islamic Republic. What Israel is doing to the IRGC — stopping a genocidal regime from acquiring nuclear weapons — is a gift to humanity. There are 57 Islamic countries and only one Jewish state, Israel. Despite the ongoing hateful desire to eliminate it, Israel has not only survived, it has thrived. I don't believe in miracles, but this is one. So I ask the UN: when will you end the ritual of condemning Israel? Is it not time, instead, to learn from Israel? How to defeat terror, defend free societies, and pursue peace. Thank you.

You are totally right. You should see the bitching, vitriol and venom being spat amongst those trying to establish right-leaning political parties in Ireland - utterly depressing, sickening. Our strengths, individuality, autonomy etc. also make us unwilling/unable to lay down our differences and get behind one another. Meanwhile the collectivism of people we call 'sheep' is also the greatest strength of those on the left. What can be done? 🤷‍♀️

I am going to say something, and people are not going to like it, but it is the truth. A couple of years ago when I started my little YouTube channel, I asked people that followed me on here to please go over there and subscribe. It is free. I knew what would happen, because I have seen it from conservatives in the entertainment Industry. In business. Across the board. People would resist doing it. I was making a point. Yesterday I posted a go fund me for a bunch of young christian males who are going on a retreat to deepen their faith. I got two responses on it. Some people gave money. I understand it is tough times out there, but that isn’t the point. The left defends murderers and they get millions in go fund me $ in hours. Someone makes a joke about a blow job and they get millions of followers. Minorities are targeted for waste fraud and abuse and the left is out in the street protesting, but someone on the right gets attacked and they are left to fend for themselves. Bunch of young christian men needing support? The group that will literally save our country? Two responses. We do not want to admit it, but the right sucks at getting behind our own side. There is absolutely no incentive for young people to step out and risk their futures to support conservative causes. They will be abandoned and left to fend for themselves as the people who are meant to be on their side live on to the next thing. This is part of the reason that conservative politicians don’t give a damn about us. We do not join together as a force for change. I have seen this in my own community. Fast to complain but when something is done that benefits them, they shrug and do not back those who did it. I know people in the uk who hate what is going on there but won’t do anything because they feel like they will be out on their own, exposed and no one will come to their aid in difficult times. One of the reasons the American military is so great is that they have a policy of “ leave no man behind.” The will NEVER leave a warfighter on the battlefield, and every one of them knows this. Until we shift our mentality, we will lose. Over and over. Uncomfortable truths, but they are just that, truths.

Tell me you live in Western Europe in 2026 without telling me you live in Western Europe in 2026. Why was the centre mixed sex? Why did they mix the migrants with the girls in care? Why are they letting her die? She looks not 25 but 12 😢 Where are her parents? Where is the moral compass of the State? She is worth nothing in the new world order. The Spanish government do not care after all she is white and underclass and female. Her story is problematic. Her pain and inconvenience. Exactly like Labour in the UK. Remember her name. A new marker in an increasingly nihilistic descent into hell. Noelia Castillo. Grist to the mill for the open border fanatics.
Ada Lluch@AdaLluch

Her name is Noelia Castillo and tomorrow she will be the first person to receive euthanasia for depression in Spain. She was living in a supervised center with unaccompanied minors when she was gang raped by them. Afterwards, she tried to unalive herself by jumping from a fifth floor. But she became paraplegic instead. She’s 25 years old and today is her last day alive. Praying she can feel Jesus love before tomorrow and changes her mind. 🙏🏻

I submitted this response to Mr Murphy's article. It was not published. Sir, Conor Murphy writes that words are important yet relies on vague terms such as ‘culture’ and ‘differences’ to avoid describing specific, immutable characteristics like race, sex, ethnicity, and disability, before conflating these attributes with self-declared identities. These are fundamentally different things: one is objective, the other subjective. (Why do we tell others what they should call themselves? Tuesday, March 24) Comparing the use of nicknames to using incorrect sex-based pronouns is unconvincing. If Patrick wishes to be called Paudie, this is simply a diminutive; it does not alter any underlying fact about him, nor require others to address him as anything other than he is: male. If some in his classroom take issue with the phrase ‘boys and girls’, straightforward alternatives such as ‘everyone’ or ‘students’ includes all without distorting language. Respect matters, but so too do clarity and coherence, especially in education. Privileging one person’s subjective feelings over another’s understanding of reality is a real tension that he fails to address. Yours Sandra Adams

This @IrishTimes article portrays teachers enforcing preferred pronouns as “empathy” & “essential education”. For the vast majority of non-trans students it is something quite different: compulsory participation in a daily lie about biological sex. These students know reality. They see the same faces, the same bodies, & physical traits they’ve always seen. Their own perception of reality can result in possible punishment for daring to uphold the truth. This is not respect for tricky names or nicknames, it is ideological coercion. They learn that teachers value feelings over the truth. Their own individuality is sidelined. They must suppress their language & common sense to prop up one’s child fantasy. This is training in double-think, distrusting their eyes and science to avoid “offending”. The classroom becomes less safe for non-trans students when dissent will eventually turn them into the villain.
