Quebec's Bill 9 prohibits groups from praying in public spaces without prior municipal authorization. I am still waiting on the @SPVM for a statement regarding yesterday's events. Yesterday, Iyad Abuhamed of @mtl4palestine led pro-Hamas protesters in a Dua (a prayer of supplication.) Dua serves as a profound act of religious worship. It begins with blessing and thanks to Allah and continues with a conversation with Allah, to be performed at any time, day or night. Another form of Muslim prayer is Salah. This is the 5 times/day ritualistic prayer in which Muslims prostrate themselves. Both Dua and Salah are prayers, whether or not the people praying hit the pavement. O Allah, lift hardship and affliction from our oppressed brothers upon every land and under every sky. O Allah, Lord of Majesty and Honor, make firm the feet of our brothers in Gaza. O Allah, grant them safety from fear, protect their dignity, take care of their affairs, guide their judgment and their aim, and grant them victory over Your enemy and theirs—a mighty and decisive victory. Sherif Awad (IG sherif_business_mind) is the owner of the Montreal based business GOHA Services (Business #1176793363), which provides support for construction projects in Quebec including government contracts for cities. He is of Egyptian nationality. It’s hard to imagine Sherif Awad has a business of this scale given his full time support to the group @mtl4palestine and his outspoken support for Hamas he does not hide. Sherif Awad frequently glorifies Hamas, October 7th, Yahya Sinwar, Abu Obaida, the Houthis, and just anything else related to terrorist culture which Canada designates as such. Sherif Awad has been quoted as considering Israelis as “True Trash” and believes they must “go back to their shit hole countries in Europe forever.” Sherif Awad has also been recorded going to mosques to intimidate Imam’s to post Montreal4Palestine flyers. He has also been seen harassing regular people in Montreal enjoying dinner on New Years Eve at a restaurant. Sherif Awad is known to carry a backpack monitor that glorifies Hamas propaganda as he walks. You may view references to these instances below in this post. This is a notice of Public Interest to the Jewish & Israeli community of Montreal regarding this radical terrorist loving individual who views them as trash. Further, this is to Law Enforcement given Sherif Awad’s outspoken support of terrorism.
